Customer Review: We have had the Shark Navigator for so years or so. It is still running fine but we moved it upstairs to not have to be carrying one u and down to clean. The new one is better than the basic model we had. It has unbelievable suction and clean wonderfully. It is a bit harder to move and is a bit noisier. Perhaps because it is so new and needs to break in. I think the noise is from the self cleaning on the roller. However with two dogs and long haired women it is worth it. Highly recommend. I have had Dyson, Kirby, Electrolux and Sears over the years and NONE of them come close.

Customer Review: WOW!! I had a Shark Navigator Lift-a-way, and after 15 years of faithful service, the hose tore and duct tape didnt work. After reading the reviews here on Amazon, I tried to find it in a store. But NONE. I pulled the trigger and ordered it earlier this week. Today, it came and I put it together. My carpet was ready for a good vacuuming. This Shark is AMAZING. SUPER STRONG SUCTION. I had to back the suction off a bit (easy to access, just like the old Shark. PERFECT! I used it on my carpeted steps. Perfect! The attachment for steps is not motorized and actually does a better job than the old Shark. (It had a motorized attachment not unlike the full-sized carpet sweeper) Now I wont hate doing steps!!! I used it on my smooth kitchen floor….works great. GREAT VACUUM!! The price is right. Everything I saw at Kohls, Walmart, were either way low-quality or too high of price. Glad to be able to post a positive review on this. I was worried to never find another vacuum as good as my old Shark. Hope this helps you make a decision. 🙂

Customer Review: After 6 months, changing to 5 stars from 4. This one replaced a mini cleaner from the “D” company, that fell apart after 15 years. (We bought a new one but they are inferior quality now and too big for me.) My review is geared toward older adults with physical issues, either short or long term. I’m older (60’s) and sufferedthe long Pandemic-19 illness after a family member visited and this person and adult daughter took mum to a packed weekend buffet; mum got ill, then passed to me. Physically, I was left weak after it settled in my joints, with back ache after smallest chores for over a year, so I needed a light-weight vacuumas exertion left me with DOMS. This was on a very good price (1/2 of now), easy to assemble, good alternative to the old vac. It’s light enough that I don’t have to recover for days after using it, but sturdy enough that I think it will last. This Shark works, though I wish thehead part of it fit better under my couch, but it’s easy to change to the wand. Will never go back to the awful, expensive “D” cleaners, especially for the company that claims to have they’ve “got just what I need.” So glad I found this vac here. After owning and using for 6 months, I’m adding another star. It’s easy to set up, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store, and really works well. The vac has a max and min setting. I didn’t realize and was happy using the min setting. After switching it on max though, it blew my old cleaner away off the face of the earth. I’m so happy to have a solid machine that I can handle.

We ended up calling Shark customer service and we were told that this model had a reputation of being hard to push on carpet. Wish we had known this information before we bought one. When we buy a vacuum cleaner, we want one that will do all types of flooring. This Stratos model is lighter and easy to push on carpet. Also works well on tile and hardwood floors. The only negative is that it will not stand up on it’s own, unless you lean it against a wall. That is a small thing and something we can easily live with. It does have a small container for debris, but emptying it is easy. The suction is good. No problem collecting just about anything on the floors.

Holy smokes – there was a lot of lint and dust that this vacuum picks up that gets left behind with other vacuums. Very easy to push and feels sturdy. We’ve had other Shark vacs before but this is my fave due to the rollers that don’t catch hair! If you have long haired people in your life, you know how annoying it is – and gross – when you have to hack hair off your vacuum roller. Very pleased with the quality and performance of this!

Customer Review: Powerful yet light. It’s all about hair and It’s all about the double brush. I “sold” the Kirby vacs as a teenager waiting to get in the military. We were trained on various vacuums and I was in a lot of homes showing people how junk their other vacuums were. Never sold one because even though they were amazing because of the price tag. I just couldn’t bring myself to do that to people. But. What I learned there separated me from many others. My favorite vacuum was the older Kenmore progressive intelliclean vacuum. Bought it for my wife on Christmas. Madder than heck until she tried it. Spent HOURS testing it at sears vs the dysons etc before I bought it. Drove two sales guys crazy. Bought old parts off other broken units just to keep it going. Later (we have two) went with the new Kenmore progressives. Extremely powerful suction. Direct drive brush. But it did not have the ease of use and versatility of the intelliclean. Telling all this because I know vacuum cleaners. And also I am an engineer. So I know quality. As I stated above it’s all in the brush. Yes this vacuum is powerful. It’s so well designed to go from hand wand suction to wand for long reach to floor cleaning to lift and carry the unit. There are a few shortcomings but…it’s all about the brush. I live in the house of hairs. Wife, two daughters all with LONG hair. The kind of hair you will get your feet tangled in and fall down long hair. Then. A Husky who’s sole purpose in life is to shed and a black English lab who’s black hairballs will suffocate a small child. After vacuuming the house with the former vacuums I would have to get scissors out and cut the wrapped girls hair off the brush. Not a pleasant job but a must. Then when I would run our carpet scrubber a bunch of dog hair would clump up right after using the vacuum. So they never got all the hair. Like . A lot of left over dog hair. Our carpet is medium plush as an FYI. This new vacuum has rubber wipes on it along with a brush. No real beater bar that actually damages your carpet up like other vacuums. This instead uses what I would call friction to remove the hair from the carpet fabric. It is absolutely amazing how well it works. And the dander this thing sucks up is significantly more dense than the former vacuums. The only important downside that I figure I would mention is with this double brush system is that it won’t do light rugs. Neither did our Kenmores cause they would just suck the dang things up into the bag almost. This double roller instead will grab the rug and pinch it between the two rollers and then it will trip off the rollers. You then have to turn off the vac (easy) extract the rug (not too bad and no damage to the vac or rug) then you can turn it back on to get the rollers to work again. So if like my house where my wife buys rugs Every time I turn around then know that like most vacuums (even with the brush on slow (hardwood setting) and the min suction (which is just a port on the handle to allow air bypass)…the rollers is what will grab the rug. On heavier rugs it has zero issues. Haven’t had to clean the brush head yet of hair so that’s like worth going out to the bar with your buddies. They would understand. Any other downsides are not downsides. If this was your first ever vacuum in life you would name your first child after it. But if you have gone through many vacuums you see minor things you would change but all of them are not worth even blinking about. Shark did extremely well and I am glad I went with this model even though there are more exotics they make. No matter what model you get…if you are losing the war on hair this double brush system is it. You will claim victory 10 seconds after you turn it on and will probably call your buds over to celebrate. Please don’t tell my wife about this post cause she won’t let me tell her all about vacuum cleaners and will get mad at me for sharing. Update. Run the vacuum almost every day. Best vacuum I have ever owned. We have new medium plush carpet. On occasion I have to run the carpet cleaner. Prior to this vacuum there would be a lot of dog hair and long girls hair clogged up in the carpet cleaner brushes. Not anymore. This Shark pulls all of the hair up. Very impressed. Everything about this vacuum is perfect. I would not change a thing.

Customer Review: I’ve now had this vacuum for a year, it is so well worth the money. I switched from my Dyson to this shark model. It’s easy to use, it’s easy to clean. The suction is the best I’ve ever seen in a vaccum. It’s lightweight. Lots of length to use attachments. The scent boosters work great. I can see where if I had dogs this would be great for the smell. The scent boosters also have levels you can set . I have cats and it collects the hair like no other vacuum. For noise level, I don’t think it’s loud. The quality of this baby is made built to last! I will never buy anything other vacuum. My only con is I wish I did this so much sooner!

Customer Review: This is my third Shark. The last one I had was a Navigator. Okay for a small pet-free family, but horrible for a house with a big, furry dog. I used this one today for the first time, and it was amazing! I got it for $200, but I would’ve definitely paid full price. The large canister enabled me to vacuum three rooms before I needed to empty it. Keep in mind, these rooms hadn’t been vacuumed in about three days, and I had been using the lackluster Navigator previously. The dog hair tumbleweeds were excessive. The suction on this thing is awesome, even when using the attachments, and the roller thing didn’t immediately fill with hair like a traditional brush roller. This is hands-down the best vacuum I’ve ever used, and I hope it lives up to the first-day hype.

Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. There are many different attachments for this hairdryer. I bought used and only had a few nicks and scratches. I don’t use it too much to really care, so I saved a lot of money. It’s well built, the cable is sturdy. Sometimes the hair dryer can burn you, but it shouldn’t damage your hair. It has a good temperature setting control, and I always use the cool blast when I need. Depending on how dry your hair is and the products you use dictate how well your hair ends up. In the end, it’s a good value hair dryer with all the attachments I need, does the job quickly and well.

Customer Review: We love the high suction from this product, we had to change the dirt chamber several times because it picked up all the dog dander & shedding from our dogs. All the attachments were extremely helpful. We especially like the pet stair attachment. The ceiling fan blade brush is great!!! I don’t think our ceiling fan have ever been cleaned! Its a bit heavy, when taking the product upstairs, but is very powerful as our household item! Great value for our money. Customer Review: My ~2005 upright Eureka recently died so I needed a replacement. I would’ve purchased the same one again, but of course it was discontinued, and I didn’t like the newer models as they seemed several steps down; so, I started a search for a replacement. I wanted something with about the same specs: ~12A motor for suction power, ~13″ cleaning path, manual wind up cord (retractable is great until it stops working), non-swivel upright portion (never had a need for this), brush roller turns off when using the hose, 15-20 lb weight (big motor and quality construction to stand up to use over time), uses a bag, and costs about $200. It seems that most of the top rated vacuums on Amazon are ~$100, 10 lbs, and many have 8A motors- if you search for the specs. I don’t think a vacuum will have enough suction power with an 8A motor (they compensate by a narrower cleaning path), or at 10 lbs have quality construction to last- unless maybe you just have a tiny apartment. Anyway, this vacuum has everything on my wanted list except for the bag. I’ve only used it a few times, so I can’t comment on durability over time, but I’m impressed with the power and what it picks up. The minor negatives are that the brush is odd shaped and the red bristles fall out- although it’s getting better over time. The power cord’s insulation isn’t as flexible as a high quality cord- this one holds its shape and the bends from the factory packaging haven’t relaxed out after two months. It has a headlight but isn’t very bright or useful. These are only minor negatives. I don’t have pets or kids so I don’t have to vacuum very often; if it lasts me 10+ years I’ll be happy.
