Customer Review: This is a long one, but it’s worth the read if you’re doing some serious shopping for a vacuum cleaner:I picked this up in October so I’ve been using it for a few months just to get a genuine sense of how this vacuum really performed and I am absolutely impressed! This beats my Dyson AND my Kirby hands down. Superior suction, amazing maneuverability, lighter than either the Kirby or the Dyson. ( If you’re wondering why I own so many vacuums, I clean for a living.) I bought this for the house. I have two cats and a husband who’s into Warhammer so you know there are sprew bits and cat hair everywhere and this thing handles it like a champ! I wasn’t sold on how small the floor attachment was until I used it: I can get underneath my barstools so much easier now and my entire house ( approx. 2000 sq ft.) is done in 20 minutes, tops! There is a learning curve, but that’s something you get with any new vacuum. I was also super impressed by the ease with which I can switch from floor to handheld attachments. Some of these other vacuums I’ve used are so bulky and difficult to handle all the small attachments… Not this one! I’m able to switch back and forth from floor to handheld quick, fast and in a hurry. Bonus points that it’s lightweight. I’m not killing myself just to vacuum my house. It’s really saved my back! And it was so much less expensive than the Dyson or the Kirby. The window on the floor attachment gives me a clear view of the roller brush ( yeah, it makes me accountable which is a good thing. It’s harder to ignore when I can see it so thanks for that, too. ). The cord is a tad short, so I went ahead a bought a small extension cord to go with it, but other than that, I’m very impressed! I wish I had bought this years ago. I will never buy another vacuum from anyone else other than Shark again. Good job, guys! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serious little vacuum.

Customer Review: This vacuum is outstanding!! The suction is absolutely incredible. I wish the dirt bucket was bigger , because this thing goes to work for you . You fill the bucket really fast because spots that you were sure were clean , try going over them again and you might be shocked, especially if you have dogs . I have two German Shepherds that blow their coats constantly this weird winter in Texas . It comes apart in many places to make cleaning so easy. It’s very easy to use , just watch out for area rugs and runners . This thing has such powerful suction, i almost sucked mine up a few times . It’s compact too. It doesn’t take up much space at all . Just the corner in the closet will do. I have had mine several months now and it still works as good as the first day . I love it ! It’s way better than the Dyson I had . Just saying.

Customer Review: This review is for the Performance Powered lift away vacuum. Honestly it is wonderful. I don’t know what everyone else’s complaints are but…. I also have the regular shark Navigator. I love it but it is getting old & I am tired of lugging it up & down the stairs. So I got this one. 1st people complain about the size of the dust bin. It is not to small. I have 2 grown adults, 3 cats & a corgi. I vaccum every day. This one is great, I empty it every other day & its not even full.What I love is the floor selection switch that changes the suction power or the vaccum.The hose length is perfect especially if you use just the handle part for cleaning upholstery. The detachable wand is extra long with the hose, you can reach a 6 foot ceiling if needed. I will always be a Shark customer.

Customer Review: Received my Shark Performance Powered Lift-Away Upright Vacuum (UV2500) today. As silly as it sounds to be excited over a vacuum, indeed I was! I vacuumed the whole house TWICE. I’m so pleased with the weight, maneuverability and suction of this vacuum. I have 2 large dogs who shed like crazy. With my old machine, I could vacuum carpets three times and the canister would still be full. On my second pass with the Shark, there was barely anything in the canister. There are three settings; hard floors, short pile carpet and high pile carpet. I did all carpets on the short pile setting, and it worked great! I’m NOT a fan of high priced Dyson. This Shark wasn’t cheap, but it was a competitive price and worth the money. The real test will be to see how long it lasts…

Customer Review: The vacuum is just like the other Sharks I have had. Great suction, filtration and ease of use.I love the hand roller tool, it works great on my cat trees! Also the other tools work well.The only downfall is the cord is much shorter than my last Shark.My last Shark is still working, but it has been used a lot.Excellent quality, I have no doubt it will last for years.I would buy this again.Only my 3rd Shark because they last while getting put through the test at our house.Its been 30 years of using them.This one is powerful and picks up all the dirt and pet hair. Customer Review: The reviews were NOT lying OMG! This vacuum suction is amazing, so amazing that you’ll get a great workout while using it lol! It will pick up dirt, pet hair, dust, crumbs, you name it, it’ll grab it! No particles left after you vacuum and turn it off like other vacuums. Super functional but I did notice on my rugs I needed two hands to push it, it’s alot easier on standard carpet. It’s also a lot quieter than your normal vacuum, my downstairs neighbors will be happy as I vacuum often lol. So happy with my purchase! Shark just gained a forever customer.

I’ve managed to take out everything from an old Kirby to a new Dyson & everything in between. Even the ones designed for pet hair didn’t last long. Then I got a shark navigator. It was true love! It was like having a Catholic priest come in on a regular basis to perform an exorcism on my carpets. For years, me & my Shark performed miracles in my home, proclaiming from my mountain top… THIS HOUSE IS CLEAN! Then we moved. I allowed a stranger to take my beloved Shark and haul it 2600 miles. By the time it arrived, it was too late. I founded it shoved behind a pile of boxes, hidden by the movers until after they left. It was literally in pieces, it’s hoses and cords shredded and pulled from thier sockets. The handle snapped off at the neck, there was no chance of resurrection. I couldn’t imagine what kind of torture my poor loyal side kick had endured, and was in doubt I would ever know such admiration for a household appliance again.I started the quest for a new vacuum, of course I knew it would be impossible to find such perfection again. Each year the new models get cheaper in parts while more expensive in price. After days of exhaustive searching… thinking perhaps I could find a remanufactured version of my old pal, I gave up. Customer Review: I researched this vacuum heavily before buying it and honestly I was not sure it was going to be as good as everyone said. I was wrong. The vacuum is stellar. I can tell that it’s cleaning the carpet in a way that it was not cleaned by my old Shark vacuum because of what I see in the dust cup as they call it.. it’s hardly a cup it’s huge. The one thing they don’t tell you in all the reviews and videos that I watched is that the motorized brush rollers are really powerful. I’m 72 but fairly strong very physically active/fit and this thing just about ran away with me. It was a workout to use it. Not in a bad way but still a workout. The forward is easy..but on the backstroke you’ve got to really pull against those brushes that want to go forward. Very impressive results so far. I might update this after three or four months of using it. I have a low pile ribbed carpet and I’ve been using it on the medium setting which seems to be appropriate for this carpet. I’ve not tried it on my hardwood floors yet. All I can say is the suction is very strong and puts my older.Shark Navigator and classic Miele cannister vacuum to shame. Completely worth the slightly higher price, very easy to put together right out of the box,. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

The plastic swivel component that attached to the floor vacuum literally broke in pieces, a small piece first, then a large piece, then all of it. It would still vacuum, but not stand up, nor could you maneuver it. Tried repairing, gave up. I replaced it with a Shark Navigator lift away. I had previously owned one of those. After using the Navigator for 7 or 8 months, I decided to go back to the Shark Vertex. My reasons were, the Vertex is self cleaning. I have a great Pyrenees and a shepherd Pyrenees mix, a 2 small dogs. I vacuum every other day. It takes forever when you have to stop and clean the brush roll out. I also have a shag area rug, and when using the Navigator, even with adjusting the suction, it was more of a work out and struggle. I started looking at the Vertex model and caught it on sale on Amazon, I won’t say what I paid, but it’s a lot cheaper than what the price is now. Having said all this, the Vertex is worth it. The suction surpasses the Navigator, and it even dusts your floors. Long dog hair, no problem, vacuuming the car, got it. I dont find it to be heavy, or cumbersome. The Navigator is a good vacuum, but for me the Vertex is worth it, even if I only get another 5 years out of it.

Customer Review: I live in the desert so a LOT of dust and dirt get tracked into my home, and I also have a what WAS a “fancy” floor finish that now flakes up CONSTANTLY, so keeping up on vacuuming is a *constant* chore. Just to make things more complicated, I’m disabled and have arthritis, so doing a lot of moving around and bending down to get at tricky spots used to leave me laid up for an entire day after housekeeping.THIS vacuum cleaner has been a complete GAME-CHANGER! It is a *little* heavier than I expected, but for all the other features, it’s enough of a trade-off. One of the BEST features for someone with limited flexibility is that you can lift the light-weight cannister and motor section off of the base and carry it around like a hand vacuum. You can *also* remove the handle from the vacuum in two differed lengths – a short handle for cleaning things at waist height and above, and a LONG handle to get under crevices and other spots on the floor without bending over or getting down on your hands and knees for tricky spaces!This vacuum allows me to adjust the rug/floor setting with a button near the handle without having to bend over and fiddle with a knob near the floor, and even has a setting to automatically adjust itself to go from carpet to bare floor. The motor is STRONG and does an excellent job at cleaning the carpet and floor with just a few passes. For getting under cupboards and furniture, there’s a sensor that will give a boost where you need one, and a light that goes on and off automatically because the darn thing is MAGIC and knows when you need it!The cannister that holds the dust and dirt is on the small side, but I think this is a plus because even though you have to clean it out a little more often, it doesn’t vomit out so much gunk that you end up covered in dust and grime. That is also why it is small and light enough to carry around, so I consider it a feature, not a bug.It is a little pricey, but I think it’s been worth every penny. I actually look forward to using it because it’s made it so much easier to keep my house clean again!

Customer Review: Wow never thought I would get excited about a vacuum but I am. I bought this for my mom and when it arrived it was so easy to put together only a couple of snaps. I had just vacuum her floor with the Dyson that this vacuum was replacing so I thought when I try this out I will not pick up much. Boy was I wrong one room and half the canister was full. This really picks up the dirt. I love the light that comes on to tell you there is dirt in the rug. I would recommend this vacuum it is not to heavy so it will work good for my mom as she is not as young as she once was. Update I now one one for myself as well. Well I have now had this a couple of months and surprise I still love it my floors are clean than ever.

Customer Review: For the price this is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned! It came neatly packaged. It was easy to put together. I’ve had it for 6 months now and the suction still works great! Love how it swivels in every direction possible so I can make tight turns at the last second! This is super light weight compared to Dyson! The pet hair remover is amazing and is very powerful! I use the attachments on the stairs all the time. Yes, you’ll need to use the hose for baseboards, but most vacuums are like that. My only complaint is the attachments fall off the vacuum while running it. Not sure how to fix that unless I remove them. Other than that, this vacuum works like a charm!

Customer Review: I am a janitor. I have been buying Bissel for the past 18 months. The first, a much cheaper model, lasted 1 year. Then I bought one that was a bit more expensive, by $20 or so. I am still using that one, but the bottom plate came off. It still sucks up very well, but it is loud, perhaps because the bottom broke off. I am using it only for floor 1 and lobby. It sucks up the winter salt crystals that are copiously strewn on the grounds and tracked into the building.Thi latest model is more expensive, almost $200, and I am loving it. It has a HEPA filter — the others did not. It purrs quietly, and performs well.This model allows me to disconnect the vacuum from its base to use the hose to get dust and the like above the floor. It also has settings for floor and carpet.This model is VERY easy to put together. Usage is straightforward. Once you turn it on, gently place your foot on the base as you position the handle for vacuuming.

Customer Review: So far I have used this vacuum twice and It’s a pretty strong stick vacuum. It works really well on carpet and hard floors. I like that it is so versatile. You can use the tools with the stick extension or attach the tools directly to the vacuum for closer jobs. It definitely has a great suction which I love about Shark vacuums. Shark has been one of my favorite brands of vacuum tools. I have used the navigator, i have a cordless hand vacuum that I use to clean my truck that works great and I had a Shark robot vacuum at one point as well. Shark vacuums have just been great machines all around.I will say the reviews about not being able to stand the vacuum up is only somewhat accurate. If the dust bin and motor are attached as you normally would to vacuum your floors then the weight of it will cause it to fall over. The roller brush part isn’t wide enough or heavy enough to hold it up. However, there is a little hook down by the roller on the front of the extension tube that is meant to hold the motor and dust cup. If you remove the motor and place it on the storage hook it will stand up perfectly and become a little more compact. It distributes the weight and BOOM it stands without issues. Love the light on it too. It lit up dust and dirt I couldn’t normally see. I can use it under my bed which I like because my pups like to lay under it with the toy graveyard. It’s a nice machine for a 856 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment. I mostly have hard floors but it works great everywhere. Pretty decent price too for $125. The upholstery tool and brush tool are combined. To use the brush they must be together but to use the upholstery tool you push the release button and the brush will pop off to reveal the upholstery tool. Pretty nifty stuff. As other reviewers mentioned there isn’t a place to store the tools but to me that is a minor inconvenience.
