Customer Review: This is my first time using a robot vacuum. I went with Shark because I looove their other cleaning machines that I have owned. I’m impressed with this vacuum. It was very easy to set up using the app. After setup, the first thing you do is to let it map your home. The trick is to move items that can be moved out of its way so it can get a good map of your rooms. While its mapping a room, I move chairs out of that room to another until it’s done mapping then I put them back. It does a decent job of creating a map of your home, and you can let it do it again just in case you’re not pleased with its rendering. While mapping, it is not cleaning so bear that in mind. After it delivers the map to your home, you then move on to labeling each room by dragging a square over each area which tells the vacuum the boundaries of that room. This is great for if you later want to send the vacuum to clean a particular room and not the whole house.For places where I have two rooms in one like my kitchen and dining, I separate the two rooms while labeling rooms on the map because sometimes I want only the kitchen vacuumed and not the dining room. I watch where the vacuum goes to begin its vacuuming just to check if the boundary I created in the map is where I want it. I can go in and adjust it in the map by dragging the square for that room to change it. Make sure your squares connect to the square of the adjoining room because in areas where you do not have a square covering in the map, the vacuum will not go there.All that aside, you can opt to do a regular single-pass vacuuming or a more robust matrix vacuuming where the robot goes horizontal and vertical so every area is cleaned twice. Its suction isn’t bad. I still see little things on the carpet that it misses. It does a great job with corners for its round shape. You can also take it to a spot you want it to clean instead of the whole room. You can also use the map to block out areas you do not ever want it to clean.I have a large home and it saves me so much time keeping the floors and carpet clean. You can schedule it to vacuum whenever you like. Doing it maybe 4 times a week helps a lot and keeps debris down. Sometimes when it goes to unload the debris it gets stuck and you have to manually clear the chute and empty the canister in the garbage instead. That’s not a deal breaker for me.It’s not too quiet but I don’t mind it as it lets me know it is working. My dogs find it fascinating at first, they were a bit scared, but after a little while, they just ignore it as its doing its thing.I find no real issues with this vacuum, it’s electronic and may glitch at times, like going to the wrong room, but I just simply cancel it and start again and it works. I highly recommend this.

Customer Review: Update 12/29/2025: if i could give a zero i would!!! ok, the warranty ran out November 2024, the unit has failed. It started to act up a month before the warranty ran out. I cleaned it, new filters, new rollers, did regular maintenance work, it still failed. I was told by a Shark rep after going through the steps to fix , and it can not be fixed. I was offered 30% off buying a new one from Shark! I paid 349 plus tax for a vacuum that only lasted a year with normal daily use in our home!!!! I have had Shark vacuums in the past, with no problems, so i stuck with Shark on the Robo Vac, and that was a big mistake to do so!!!! What a rip off!!!!! Now i am out a vacuum! Back to a broom and dust pan! It does not fail in a year nor cost almost$350!!!!!——————————-OLD review:I did not get the highest model, but being a lover of shark vacuums I did purchased the self cleaning vac mop model to see if i would like a robot vac.All I can say is WOW!!! We have 2 dogs whose job is to shed, 4 cats, a cocatoo, hubby and kids.The first picture is random run, the second was from after returing to dock to empty and then back to point it had stopped at to finish.The 3rd is from a whole house programmed run. 4 rooms, 1 bath and hallway. The last one the pad from cleaning one room with the mop function. That blew my mind, it is not a frequently used room and had been washed a couple days before.Using a broom or cordless stick vac(not Shark, was a bad girl, i can say it will soon be replaced with a Shark version, no more straying from Shark)it looked like i could make a toupee daily!!! This was on normal mode, may try matrix next time and see what she finds!!!Love how she mapped the rooms, it was very accurate and let\’s you know the size of the rooms, and also the size of cleaning it does. This is perfect and I can’t understand how or why any additional technology would be needed or why I’d want to pay more for it. This vacuum gets the house so clean and the self empty is absolutely necessary so you don’t have to worry about it not getting a full cleaning in because it gets too full. It just goes to the base, empties itself and then goes back to its last location. My biggest concerns in buying one of these were a vacuum that constantly got stuck on things and a vacuum that missed cleaning areas if furniture was in a slightly different location. This vac is fantastic, cleans every inch of my home, transitions from hardwood to carpet with no problems and I’m amazed at the areas it fits itself into so it can clean. It gets under my dish washer and fridge, transitions on and off my marble near the fireplace and handles our welcome mats without issue. It also seems to have a certain level of intelligence where it has gotten more confident in certain areas of my home. Set up and mapping was so simple. Another cool feature is that you can update your map at any time to add different rooms or change dimensions. For example I have an open kitchen/family room. At first I labeled that area as 1 room. I then edited and created 2 rooms so that I can select just one of those areas if I want to get an individual area cleaned at any given time.Let me address some of the negatives I read in reviews. Noise- not too noisy, when emptying it’s a little loud for about 6 seconds, no big deal. Battery life- no problem for me, I can spot clean any time I want. I have it scheduled to do a full clean at 12:00am every night. As a result it doesn’t matter if it stops to charge in between cleanings. App limitations- not a problem for me, I prefer the simplicity. You can on demand have it clean one room or multiple rooms with the touch of a button. You can have it spot clean an area by touching the area on the map. Scheduled cleaning- only lets you schedule all rooms, you can’t schedule just 1 room. Not a problem. I select rooms as needed throughout the day, for example if kids were messy at lunch I select kitchen. But I like that it cleans my entire first floor every night. Also while it’s cleaning you can alternate the power which is nice. Bin storage- some people say it won’t last 45 days, I’m not gross enough to let it sit for 45 days. But there is more than enough space to not worry about it overfilling if I’m on vacation for a while. Otherwise we tend to empty it every couple days because we love seeing how much dirt it collected lol.In review, this is the best product at the best value. Anything more expensive isn’t needed because this gets the job done (amazing cleaning without getting stuck on things). Anything cheaper I wouldn’t have confidence in cleaning power/navigating. I rarely leave Amazon reviews but based on all the research I did I felt I should pass this info along to all of you.

I’ve had 2 others which I bought used and they were adequate, but I wanted one that would map my house and I could have it clean specific rooms when needed. Customer Review: I’ve only had this for a couple of days but it seems to be working great. I purchased this to replace my 7-year-old I robot vacuum which just wasn’t cutting it anymore. I have a dog and a cat and this seems to handle the pet hair with ease. The noise level while it’s vacuuming is good, but when it docks and cleans out the dustbin into the big dust bin it’s rather noisy, but that’s only for like 15 or 20 seconds. My apartment is 1,270 ft and it does have to go back and dock itself to recharge before it’ll finish the last little part which takes all of maybe 10 minutes total to finish up. It is nice though that it’ll finish the job on its own without me having to reactivate it after it’s done charging. The mapping process was fairly easy and it seems to be doing a really good job at cleaning up the random cat litter and dog/cat hair off the floors. Overall I’m really happy with this product.

Our dogs hated the old vacuum and would chase it around, flip it down stairways, etc. It was time to replace it. I purchased a new Eufy self emptying model and hated it after one use. It got stuck in sooooo many places! Plus it had these tiny little bags that it emptied into that would require me to spend a fortune on replacement bags. I returned it and began researching Shark robot vacuums. I ordered this and was in awe of how well it worked! It mapped out our home and let me set up “no go” areas. I have this run every morning and it covers a large area, returns to the base to recharge and then resumes cleaning. It does a really nice job and has cut down on the time needed to run a manual vacuum. With two dogs and a busy household it gets a workout every day! It would not hold 60 days of debris for our household due to the dog hair. But that is not a big deal. I typically empty the canister every two to three weeks even though it isn’t full. It goes over area rugs like a champ! There are three floor vents that it will occasionally get stuck on if it hits them at the right angle…but that only happens about every other week…. and only on one of the three. Getting stuck once out of 14 runs isn’t too bad. Especially when our old Eufy would get stuck multiple times in one run.The cons have been that recently I will get an error saying the bin is not installed correctly…but it is and the vacuum continues to run and works just fine. It’s annoying that the app sends the notification while it is in fact working fine. The other complaint is about the app as well. If the vacuum does get stuck the app will not show where it is. You must activate the beeper on it to locate the vacuum. Not a big deal, unless of course the battery has died and it is unable to beep. Fortunately, we are aware of the three possible spots that it gets hung up and can check those if we are unable to locate it by sound. I do think the battery could last longer. It runs for about 45 minutes on normal power before it needs to return to recharge.Besides its cleaning ability the next best thing…our dogs completely ignore this vacuum! I don’t know if the older one made a sound that only they could hear and find annoying or what. But they have paid zero attention to this since its first run!’

Customer Review: This is such a good robot vacuum, I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks so far and it has work really well. It does have a strong suction podwer, cleans really well and mops well enough too. Setting it up was really easy, I only needed to get all the parts out of the box and follow the instructions provided in the box( clear and concise). The only thing I’m not pleased with is the amount of noise it makes, a little too noisy for me but it doesn’t bothers me as much as it would annoy others so keep that in mind if you’re a noise sensitive person though you could probably set it to the lowest suction setting. Device has self empty which I absolutely love and works pretty well, easy to clean and remove debris. Initial mapping worked like described but I advise you to remove everything that could be a temporary obstacle to your device so that the mapping is completely succesful. Price is a little too high compared to other brands I’ve seen around so I would probably advise waiting for a good deal like Black Friday to get yours at a great price.

Customer Review: We just redid the carpet in our house after 30 years. To help keep that carpet looking new, I upgraded to this self-emptying robot from an older Roomba. It does a great job navigating around our house and seems to clean well. It hasn’t gotten stuck anywhere yet.The app feels a little clunky, but works fine. You really need it at setup. After that, I have it set to clean the whole floor every morning at 7.Bin isn’t very large, but except for a spill we had, with daily cleaning of a new carpet it doesn’t fill. There is a setting to have the robot return to the base every 30 minutes to empty the bin. We haven’t needed to empty the base after 2 or 3 weeks of use. It uses its sensors well and doesn’t bump into many obstacles.In all, we are very pleased

Customer Review: Honest review start to finish. The vacuum arrived well packed. Boxes were undamaged. There is assembly required. it comes with two mop pads, 2 edge brushes and a bottle of mop solution. Setting it up was pretty easy. It had a 70% charge on it when it arrived. So, we had it map our home. it did that in about 20 minutes. Our home is relatively small at only 980sq ft. We, then, had it vacuum the entire house. It took about another 30 minutes to do that. We only have one room with carpet. The rest is LVP. We let it return to the base, which it did flawlessly, and get a full charge. We, then, had it mop the floors. That took about 20 minutes. It did a good job. It had been rainy and my 4 dogs had tracked in some mud onto my kitchen floor and it cleaned all of it up. Again, it returned to the base. What I did notice while it was vacuuming was that the spot my Blue Heeler loves to lay and roll around on the carpet at, the vacuum went over that spot 4-5 times to get all of her hair up off the carpet. When the vacuum returns to the base, it cleans itself, hence the nevertouch in the name. It is quite noisy when it is cleaning. It pulls the debri from the vacuum and puts it in a cup at the back of the unit. If you mopped, it washes the pad. So, you do not need to change it every time you mop. it pulls the dirty water from the unit and deposits it into its own reservoir. To empty the mop water reservoir or refill the clean water, you just flip open the top at the front and lift the tank you wish to use out. Very easy. It connected to our home wifi quite easily. However, this is where we deducted one star. It does experience some connectivity issues. It does not come with an instruction manual. So, you have to do a search on the internet to figure out how to get it to reconnect. The Shark app is easy to use as well. You can schedule cleaning. That is a feature i really like. The app will also tell you when you need to clean your sensors, etc. It also has a feature that lifts the unit so it doesn’t get stuck. We have several transitions in our home and it has not gotten stuck once. This unit is not ugly. it is a very attractive unit and I don’t mind it sitting where it is sitting. The size is about what i would expect from an all in one unit. I think that this item is priced just about right. I do think they need to include an actual manual and figure out something with the connectivity issues. But, other than that, this is a great little unit. This is not the first Shark product I have owned and it has definitely lived up to my expectations I have for the brand.

Customer Review: This is the best robot vacuum on the market. Period. Ive had an iRobot and a Roborock. The iRobot was a decent cleaner but had horrible navigation. The Roborock had excellent navigation but cleaned horrendously. The Roborock actually made my apartment look worse as left these dust bunnies all over so the navigation is pointless if it cant clean. The Shark is perfect in my mind. Best cleaning i have ever seen from a robot vacuum and navigation is great (not quite as good as Roborock) it cleans the 600 sq. ft. area I have it set to clean in 1 hour. It navigates a space with multiple obstructions and different surface levels and not once have I gotten a notification about it being stuck or lost.Another unique feature: is the dust bin. It is a reusable dust bin that you can empty yourself and reuse. No need to buy these 1 time use dust bags that all the other brands require. Massive cost savings over time.The app has all the features you need. Set a cleaning schedule, create rooms, create no go zones, set suction level. Simple but thats all you need.Bottom Line: I need a vacuum that cleans my place effectively and does it without me ever having to think about it. The Shark is the only robot vacuum that has been able to deliver on this. The schedule is set and when I get home my apartment is clean. Buy this vacuum if thats what you need.

We wanted to find something similar. Our vacuum “Rosie” goes through a mapping session during her startup. After that session, she knows exactly where to go in your house to make a very efficient clean. You can set her on a timer and control everything from the app. You can even send her to certain rooms that are messy and not have her do the whole floor. I have recommended her to some friends. I have a cat and sheds a lot of hair, this product made my life much easier. I sweep once a week and use my swifter to remove any hair along the edges of the wall for the vacuum to pick up, I do this weekly. The vacuum can’t reach places where furniture is in place but it does its job, as far as cleaning the entire open area. Also this vacuum doesn’t get stuck as other reviews I’ve read on other products. It recognizes the objects and works around object including the cat lol….if you have a large area the vacuum will return to the base to recharge itself. Once the vacuum recharges itself it will resume where it last left off. Love it. This product isn’t a large vacuum, but it will pick up everything in sight make sure not to leave large pieces of paper, strings or small objects on the floor it will get stuck into the vacuum if you want this product to last. Also, this vacuum goes over area rugs including items that are on the same level, make sure to remove certain items off the floor or you can command the vac not to go thru certain areas. You can also schedule clean up time. This product is worth buying. I’m going to purchase another one for my second floor.
