I love the way it lets me navigate all around my furniture, I love that it lets me clean underneath my tables, and I love how POWERFUL the suction is! I thought my fully-carpeted small house was clean when the Navigator arrived, but after one use, the LARGE clear canister on this machine was FULL. Customer Review: I cannot say enough how much I love this vacuum. I had went through a few different vacuums that work amazing at first but then after a month, lose suction. I’ve had this one a few months now and the suction is still strong and works like it’s brand new. It was easy to put together and came with instructions, although you don’t really need them, it’s pretty simple. & it was an amazing deal because this vacuum is normally twice the price everywhere else! It will also last forever which saves money in itself because you won’t have to keep purchasing a new vacuum every year. The suction is just as strong as the day I bought it, it picks up dirt and everything else with ease. I own a cleaning company and use this for the company as well as at home and have had zero issues. If you’re looking for a good, quality vacuum- this is the one to get!

Customer Review: We have had the Shark Navigator for so years or so. It is still running fine but we moved it upstairs to not have to be carrying one u and down to clean. The new one is better than the basic model we had. It has unbelievable suction and clean wonderfully. It is a bit harder to move and is a bit noisier. Perhaps because it is so new and needs to break in. I think the noise is from the self cleaning on the roller. However with two dogs and long haired women it is worth it. Highly recommend. I have had Dyson, Kirby, Electrolux and Sears over the years and NONE of them come close.

Customer Review: This is a long one, but it’s worth the read if you’re doing some serious shopping for a vacuum cleaner:I picked this up in October so I’ve been using it for a few months just to get a genuine sense of how this vacuum really performed and I am absolutely impressed! This beats my Dyson AND my Kirby hands down. Superior suction, amazing maneuverability, lighter than either the Kirby or the Dyson. ( If you’re wondering why I own so many vacuums, I clean for a living.) I bought this for the house. I have two cats and a husband who’s into Warhammer so you know there are sprew bits and cat hair everywhere and this thing handles it like a champ! I wasn’t sold on how small the floor attachment was until I used it: I can get underneath my barstools so much easier now and my entire house ( approx. 2000 sq ft.) is done in 20 minutes, tops! There is a learning curve, but that’s something you get with any new vacuum. I was also super impressed by the ease with which I can switch from floor to handheld attachments. Some of these other vacuums I’ve used are so bulky and difficult to handle all the small attachments… Not this one! I’m able to switch back and forth from floor to handheld quick, fast and in a hurry. Bonus points that it’s lightweight. I’m not killing myself just to vacuum my house. It’s really saved my back! And it was so much less expensive than the Dyson or the Kirby. The window on the floor attachment gives me a clear view of the roller brush ( yeah, it makes me accountable which is a good thing. I love them and felt they worked amazingly.Next, I have 3 dogs & a cat. Customer Review: I’ve been using a Shark cordless for a few years, but had to reconcile to the fact that with pets, the suction and ability to get all the dirt and pet hair is just not quite enough. Broke down and bought this Shark corded vacuum and O.M.G!!! Day and night difference, and the suction on this one is fierce! I was shocked at what it collected on my first go around. I love Shark products, and I’ll hang onto the cordless for small, quick vacuum needs, but for deep cleaning? This one is unreal! I feel like my house is so much cleaner. Easy to put together, not hard to push, easy to keep clean. Im a fan!!

Customer Review: I buy these every couple years for our very old Shark NV60. It’s a great vacuum with amazing suction as long as the filters are clean so there’s no reason to replace it. We did buy the newer model a few years ago but it wasn’t as good so took it back and bought a new main hose for this one. Works just as good as new & saved us over $200!These filters don’t last as long as the name brand but they are less expensive in the long run, plus it’s getting harder to find these in the name brand version. Last I looked they were $32 for one set of pre-filers and the HEPA filter (had to purchase separately. The Shark brand can be washed at least 20x before replacement pre-filters are needed. These get about 10-12 washes before they start ripping, that’s twice as much at less than 1/2 the price each filter, so worth it.To make sure a vacuum performs well it’s important to keep the pre-filters clean. A rinse every week or so works well and a good wash with soap once a month keeps the vacuum performing as it should. I vacuum approximately 1k sq ft daily and on weekend do all the carpeted areas (1,900 sq ft) in our home. For those who vacuum less or more will require a different frequency. Having a second set of filters is nice to have while the others dry after being washed. It’s best to put them in direct sunlight, flipping them a couple times, to kill any unwanted bacteria that may cause bad smells. This isn’t possible in winters so I’ll dry in a sunny window and place the bags in a zipper bag with as much air squeezed out at possible and put them in the freezer for a few weeks. So far this has eliminated any lingering odors (it also kills dust mites and eggs due to a lack of air).Unfortunately the HEPA filters cannot be washed for either name brand or generic without losing most of the benefits. I do rinse the name brand ones once before replacing due to the cost so I was buying them 1x a year or so. This is a much better deal so I just replace the HEPA filter every 6-8 months and will buy a new 2 pack alone since I don’t need the pre-filters as often. This has definitely helped with allergies! Wish they came with 2 more HEPA filters to balance it out, but it’s no big to order new HEPA filters as needed.Overall a good buy, with the exception of the added waste that I’ve been trying to avoid. That’s the only reason for three stars, otherwise it’d be a solid four stars. There is no way to recycle these either. They aren’t mind blowing amazing, but they work well and are cheap enough.

The suction is the best I’ve ever seen in a vaccum. It’s lightweight. Lots of length to use attachments. The scent boosters work great. I can see where if I had dogs this would be great for the smell. The scent boosters also have levels you can set . I have cats and it collects the hair like no other vacuum. For noise level, I don’t think it’s loud. The quality of this baby is made built to last! I will never buy anything other vacuum. My only con is I wish I did this so much sooner!

The super long hose on this item achieves the same thing and is way easier to use. Assembly was very easy and no tools were needed. All of the components just click into place and probably took two minutes to assemble. I have learned over time that the two included attachments are the only ones I really use and both can be stored right onboard the vacuum. I love that both the foam and felt filters can be rinsed in water and do not need to be repurchased. That being said, I usually buy another set anyway so that I can rinse one set and still be able to use the vacuum while they completely dry out. As for the performance, it works really well. The ability to easily adjust the level of suction right from the handle means that I can go from a throw rug, to an area rug, to a wood floor quickly and easily. The swivel operates flawlessly and makes maneuvering a breeze. And the extension of the hose is great. To reach the ceiling, I don’t have to do any heavy lifting or stretching. The dust bin is quite large and is also easy to release and empty. This particular item might not have a tons of bells and whistles, but it just works. For 95% of my tasks, it’s all I need. And it is a great value! Every single one of my Shark vacuums are still working great, and I’m sure this item is no exception. For the price, it has everything I need and really exceeded my expectations once I used it. Customer Review: I researched this vacuum heavily before buying it and honestly I was not sure it was going to be as good as everyone said. I was wrong. The vacuum is stellar. I can tell that it’s cleaning the carpet in a way that it was not cleaned by my old Shark vacuum because of what I see in the dust cup as they call it.. it’s hardly a cup it’s huge. The one thing they don’t tell you in all the reviews and videos that I watched is that the motorized brush rollers are really powerful. I’m 72 but fairly strong very physically active/fit and this thing just about ran away with me. It was a workout to use it. Not in a bad way but still a workout. The forward is easy..but on the backstroke you’ve got to really pull against those brushes that want to go forward. Very impressive results so far. I might update this after three or four months of using it. I have a low pile ribbed carpet and I’ve been using it on the medium setting which seems to be appropriate for this carpet. I’ve not tried it on my hardwood floors yet. All I can say is the suction is very strong and puts my older.Shark Navigator and classic Miele cannister vacuum to shame. Completely worth the slightly higher price, very easy to put together right out of the box,. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Customer Review: This is my second Shark Vertex, model az2002. The first one lasted 5 years. The plastic swivel component that attached to the floor vacuum literally broke in pieces, a small piece first, then a large piece, then all of it. It would still vacuum, but not stand up, nor could you maneuver it. Tried repairing, gave up. I replaced it with a Shark Navigator lift away. I had previously owned one of those. After using the Navigator for 7 or 8 months, I decided to go back to the Shark Vertex. My reasons were, the Vertex is self cleaning. I have a great Pyrenees and a shepherd Pyrenees mix, a 2 small dogs. I vacuum every other day. It takes forever when you have to stop and clean the brush roll out. I also have a shag area rug, and when using the Navigator, even with adjusting the suction, it was more of a work out and struggle. I started looking at the Vertex model and caught it on sale on Amazon, I won’t say what I paid, but it’s a lot cheaper than what the price is now. Having said all this, the Vertex is worth it. The suction surpasses the Navigator, and it even dusts your floors. Long dog hair, no problem, vacuuming the car, got it. I dont find it to be heavy, or cumbersome. The Navigator is a good vacuum, but for me the Vertex is worth it, even if I only get another 5 years out of it.

Customer Review: I live in the desert so a LOT of dust and dirt get tracked into my home, and I also have a what WAS a “fancy” floor finish that now flakes up CONSTANTLY, so keeping up on vacuuming is a *constant* chore. Just to make things more complicated, I’m disabled and have arthritis, so doing a lot of moving around and bending down to get at tricky spots used to leave me laid up for an entire day after housekeeping.THIS vacuum cleaner has been a complete GAME-CHANGER! It is a *little* heavier than I expected, but for all the other features, it’s enough of a trade-off. One of the BEST features for someone with limited flexibility is that you can lift the light-weight cannister and motor section off of the base and carry it around like a hand vacuum. You can *also* remove the handle from the vacuum in two differed lengths – a short handle for cleaning things at waist height and above, and a LONG handle to get under crevices and other spots on the floor without bending over or getting down on your hands and knees for tricky spaces!This vacuum allows me to adjust the rug/floor setting with a button near the handle without having to bend over and fiddle with a knob near the floor, and even has a setting to automatically adjust itself to go from carpet to bare floor. The motor is STRONG and does an excellent job at cleaning the carpet and floor with just a few passes. For getting under cupboards and furniture, there’s a sensor that will give a boost where you need one, and a light that goes on and off automatically because the darn thing is MAGIC and knows when you need it!The cannister that holds the dust and dirt is on the small side, but I think this is a plus because even though you have to clean it out a little more often, it doesn’t vomit out so much gunk that you end up covered in dust and grime. That is also why it is small and light enough to carry around, so I consider it a feature, not a bug.It is a little pricey, but I think it’s been worth every penny. I actually look forward to using it because it’s made it so much easier to keep my house clean again!

Customer Review: Awesome value. I use a Miele C3 vac ($1,000+) in my main home and bought the Shark Rotator for a beach house. After using the Shark for the first time in main home, I’m impressed. Cleaning dog hair off carpet and grit off hard floors looked thorough. The Shark is almost as easy to manipulate as the wand and power carpet brush on the Miele. The Shark doesn’t get any long border collie hair wrapped around the rotating carpet brush. Shark’s liftaway capability provides the mobility, although heavier, of the long hose on the Miele canister vac. Wrapping the cord on the Shark is an added chore that’s automated with the Miele cord rewind. The Miele has killer vacuum and graduated vacuum control for drapes versus a basic high-low vac control on the Shark. I like the bag filtering on the Miele to capture more dust because I have mild allergies, but the Shark dust bin empties easily. For 1/3rd the price the Shark Rotator is a champ.
