This beats my Dyson AND my Kirby hands down. Superior suction, amazing maneuverability, lighter than either the Kirby or the Dyson. I have two cats and a husband who’s into Warhammer so you know there are sprew bits and cat hair everywhere and this thing handles it like a champ! I wasn’t sold on how small the floor attachment was until I used it: I can get underneath my barstools so much easier now and my entire house ( approx. 2000 sq ft.) is done in 20 minutes, tops! There is a learning curve, but that’s something you get with any new vacuum. I was also super impressed by the ease with which I can switch from floor to handheld attachments. Some of these other vacuums I’ve used are so bulky and difficult to handle all the small attachments… Not this one! I’m able to switch back and forth from floor to handheld quick, fast and in a hurry. Bonus points that it’s lightweight. I’m not killing myself just to vacuum my house. It’s really saved my back! And it was so much less expensive than the Dyson or the Kirby. The window on the floor attachment gives me a clear view of the roller brush ( yeah, it makes me accountable which is a good thing. It’s not very loud. The brush does not jam up with hair. The suction power is great. The light on the front is also a handy feature. It’s easy to take from room to room and easy to empty and clean. It holds a lot of dirt and dog hair and is crazy easy to clean. It also charges fast and lasts long enough for me to get my whole apartment in one swoop. The suction is also really great. I’m adding a video of cleaning my dogs rug to show just how good it is. We have a cat and also are allergic to cats (go figure) so really wanted something to get the cat hair under control.Unbeknownst to me when I ordered this, not only do we have a cat but we also had a major flea situation (I can’t bring myself to use the word ‘infestation’). Also a little annoying that I sometimes have to power off and on when it gets unhappy with one of the throw rugs and the floor brush stops spinning. Customer Review: I’ve been using my Shark Cordless vacuum for a few months now. I still love it. I was waiting to make sure it kept working before reviewing. So far, so good. I haven’t had the best luck with the less expensive cordless vacuums. One was so hard to clean I just sent it back. Another had a problem with the rollers not spinning. I managed to keep it going for 2 years but always presented problems. This one is easy. The rollers stop the nanosecond a problem is detected and nothing has gotten wrapped up in them. This one is not so expensive that I couldn’t afford it and is what I was looking for. It seems durable and hopefully it will last more than a few years.It’s easy to use, lightweight and empties very easily. Just hold it over the garbage can and push the button. Nice. It’s also easy to charge. I just plug it in next to a wall and let it charge. My only complaint is actually that the charge barely lasts long enough. I have 1204 sq. ft. on 3 levels. I use a larger, corded vacuum for the top level that has 2 carpeted bedrooms. So, I’m only vacuuming the hard floors on the 2nd level (with some throw rugs) and the carpeted living room on the ground floor. Also 18 total carpeted steps. So, I wish the charge would last another 10-15 minutes for a more complete job. That said, it works so well, that I’m still very happy.The best part is that it’s small enough and light enough to make cleaning the stairs a lot less of a chore than with a full-sized regular vacuum. The rollers pull strongly and the suction is quite adequate. Not overwhelmingly so but does the job. It does roll really smoothly and you have a lot of control with turns/curves. At first I thought the light in front of the swivel head was a gimmick, but I was surprised with how useful it is. I was able to see a hidden paperclip in the carpet before running it over. Emptying the bin is an easy lever that also closes and re-latches the bin’s lid without having to touch the dusty parts. Hair doesn’t get stuck in the bin like other vacuums, it just falls right out. Customer Review: I have been a “vacuum connoisseur” since I was a teenager – my Mom kept a clean house and I inherited her enjoyment of a clean house. Vacuuming is my favorite house chore – it actually relaxes me, so I always enjoy having a great vacuum that is easy to use. Right now, we have four doggos – Husky/GSD/Malamute mix, Husky/GSD/Dingo mix, GSD/Cattledog mix, and a purebred Carolina Dog (American Dingo). As you can imagine – we have a LOT of fur around here. My dogs literally shed twice a year – six months in the spring and six months in the fall. 🙂 I vacuum the entire house at least once a day and sometimes twice. I’ve had several cordless vacs – two from Dyson, one from Bissell, and two from Shark. The Dysons were dismal at picking up fur, and the Bissell was worse. And don’t even get me started on the robot vacuums – we have had four (Roombas, Bobi, and Eufy) – completely ineffective and a waste of money.I got my first Shark Rocket Pet Pro vacuum in 2017, and I can’t say enough about it! I have vacuumed up tons of fur with it, and it has always had great suction, great power, and it’s easy to keep it clean. I just replace the filters on it every month or two, and that’s all the maintenance it needs. That poor vacuum died last week (through no fault of its own). I spent three days researching cordless vacuums, and kept coming back to the Shark Rocket Pet Pro. I bought a second to replace the first, and am still in love with this vacuum. Bonus: The new one that I bought has the upgraded handle with the hook for the motor, so it can stand on its own and be easily stored.The ONLY issue I have with this vacuum (and it’s not a huge problem): The self-cleaning brushroll is AMAZING! But – I have to stop once in a while and pull a ball of white Husky fur out of the floor attachment – the hole behind the brushroll that takes the debris up the long rod to the dustcup gets clogged (I tried to show a picture of it). When this gets blocked, the vacuum won’t pick anything up. Again, not a deal breaker, especially with the self-cleaning brushroll, but it is the one less-than-perfect aspect of this unit. And I’m probably the only one in the world with this issue, because I have my beautiful fur-factory doggos running around here. :)Overall, I adore this cordless vac and will recommend it to everyone!

I have two dogs, so I feel like I need to clean the floors constantly. I found that the cordless sweepers are convenient, but not very powerful. I had an expensive Dyson, but the Dyson was so cumbersome to carry (an heavier) and such a chore just to use the attachment. This vacuum is so easy to use. The suction began to waver, but I replaced the filters, and it was like new again. This vacuum is best I’ve ever had tbh. I’ve had the super expensive ones, but was never completely satisfied as I am with this one. I’ve recommended this one to others and sent the link to buy bc I love it so much. I’m so glad I got this. It’s made life and my job so much easier. I love the perfect lines it makes in the carpet, as well. (I love to leave the carpet fluffy.) It’s easy to empty and takes all of about five seconds to dump. It vacuums bare floors just as efficiently as the carpet. You can use just the top part for the couch and throw pillows or a long tube for higher up areas like cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling or hard top reach areas like under the couch or under the bed. I saw in the reviews that the cords was too short, but the cord is pretty long and doesn’t bother me at all. When the filters aren’t clogged, the suction is incredible and doesn’t miss a thing. For a large house, you might need to do a dump midway through if the floors are especially filthy, but usually it just needs to be dumped at the end of the project, which takes all of five seconds. It’s a great value for the price. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase.

(We bought a new one but they are inferior quality now and too big for me.) My review is geared toward older adults with physical issues, either short or long term. I’m older (60’s) and sufferedthe long Pandemic-19 illness after a family member visited and this person and adult daughter took mum to a packed weekend buffet; mum got ill, then passed to me. Physically, I was left weak after it settled in my joints, with back ache after smallest chores for over a year, so I needed a light-weight vacuumas exertion left me with DOMS. This was on a very good price (1/2 of now), easy to assemble, good alternative to the old vac. It’s light enough that I don’t have to recover for days after using it, but sturdy enough that I think it will last. This Shark works, though I wish thehead part of it fit better under my couch, but it’s easy to change to the wand. Will never go back to the awful, expensive “D” cleaners, especially for the company that claims to have they’ve “got just what I need.” So glad I found this vac here. After owning and using for 6 months, I’m adding another star. It’s easy to set up, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store, and really works well. The vac has a max and min setting. I didn’t realize and was happy using the min setting. After switching it on max though, it blew my old cleaner away off the face of the earth. I’m so happy to have a solid machine that I can handle.

Customer Review: This is my third Shark vacuum cleaner in 18 years, so I can attest that they last. My last one was the Shark DuoClean lift-away that lasted 7 years. Last week it decided to die and thankfully Amazon can ship it faster than Shark can. I have three dogs and the only vacuum cleaner that I trust is the Shark. Tonight, I put it to the test. I found pros & cons between these two vacuum cleaners. My biggest pro on this one is self-cleaning brush roller. I have long hair and I HATED having to cut, pull, and tug to get my hair out of the old brush roller! This one picks it great! The brush roller in the front of my old one picked so much pet hair that I would have to stop and clean it out, but that did not happen on this one, so that is another bonus. Another pro is the fact that I can use all the attachments off my old Shark, which allows me to have double the attachments. It has a lot of power, and it reminds me of a self-propelled lawn mower that is ready to take off and it makes it a lot easier to push, not that it’s heavy or anything. Upon reading the manual, I found out the headlights will indicate if there is a problem in the color and pattern of the lights, talk about a game changer! I’m going to have to keep the manual around if my Shark starts flashing out a SOS code, although I don’t anticipate that happening. The vacuum cleaner picked up exceptionally well and I had to empty it out a few times. My last pro is the anti-allergen dust brush. One reviewer made a video that pointed out it would be great for blinds, as well as the top & bottom of ceiling fan blades. I tried it tonight on the blinds and it was awesome! The cons: the cord length is 25 ft where my old one was 30 feet. That extra 5 feet was perfect for me, so now I’m going to have to plug in and move it to other plugs. I used to be able to do my entire house by using two plugs. I don’t know who at Shark made that decision, but I would love to have a word with them. This vacuum is larger than my other and I didn’t think anything about it, until I realized that I couldn’t get it into a couple of places that I could get my old one. And my last con may sound a little odd, but dust cup release is just the opposite of my old one, so when I click the button, it opens the other way, which almost caused me not to get it in the trash can. That is something I’m just going to have to get used too. Overall, I’m pleased with this new Shark and I look forward to using it for many more years.

Customer Review: I did a lot of research before buying this and glad I did. It’s my first cordless and, maybe I just got lucky but I couldn’t be happier with it. It has plenty of suction power. You name it and it sucks it up from cat hair to kibble, cheerios to rice. It has a sensor that “knows” when it’s on carpet and automatically the vacuum increases power. Then when it gets on vinyl/smooth flooring it knows and and automatically lowers the power a bit but still easily sucks up everything without flinging it back. It also has sensors and knows when you get close to a wall and automatically increases power so it gets everything close to the wall. The other thing it has sensor(s) for is that it “knows” is when it is sucking up more dirt in a particular spot and so also speeds up to be sure it gets it all. All that speeding up when needed and then slowing down, is to save battery power without sacrificing cleaning. I’ve run it for about 30 minutes in that “auto” mode and still had a little bit of battery power left. You can manually set it to a constant low or high power but I’ve left it on the middle, automatic power detect setting and let it decide how much power to use and when to use it (or not). It does such a good job on that setting that I see no reason to change it. I suspect on a constant high setting your battery would run out of juice pretty quickly, probably in 15 minutes or so. I also find that I use the flex wand more than I thought I would. Great for getting under beds or whatever without bending over so much to do so.When you’re finished vacuuming, just stick it on the docking station and the docking station sucks out the dirt from the vacuum cleaner and puts that dirt in a docking station container. When docked, it also recharges the battery. That dock station container holds a lot so you don’t need to empty it very often maybe once a month or so, if that much depending on your situation. When you do need to empty the docking station container, it easily disconnects from the docking station with one hand. Take the container and hold it over garbage can, push a lever and the bottom opens up and dumps everything in garbage can.I wish it came with more attachments. Mine came with two and neither had a brush which I really would like to have. I also wish there was some onboard way to carry one or more of the attachments on the vacuum itself. I knew these things weren’t including when I bought it so no stars off.

Customer Review: I know it is expensive, but this baby is worth every penny. It picks up dirt, dog hair, and all the rest even better than my big vacuum used to. The canister isn’t as big as I wish I was, but I don’t even care with how amazing it is. The auto empty feature makes up for it since I don’t have to go out to the kitchen and dump a canister then reattach it, and repeat. No cord to trip over is a bonus. I do recommend a second battery if you like to vacuum more than 20-25 minutes on carpet. I use the smart sense feature which still picks up all the nasty on my carpets. Works on my couches, pillows, mattress, hardwood floors, and medium pill carpet. I think it would do well on high pill carpet too. It also works on my bathroom mats. I literally can’t say enough amazing things about this. I look forward to vacuuming.
