Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I’m honestly impressed with this vacuum and mop robot. The first thing I noticed is how quiet it is—much, much quieter than my Roomba. I can run it while working or even on calls without it being distracting, which is a huge win. The auto dust collection feature is another standout. Not having to empty the bin every day makes the whole experience truly hands-off and low maintenance. It feels like real automation, not just a gimmick. I also love the room mapping function. It maps my home accurately, cleans efficiently, and doesn’t randomly wander around. I can clearly see where it’s been and trust that it’s covering everything. Overall, this robot cleaner is quiet, smart, and incredibly convenient. It’s a big upgrade from older models and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!
Customer Review: We really like the Tikom L8000 Plus robot vacuum cleaner. Setup was easy, and the LiDAR mapping worked very good on the first try. It mapped out the area of the house and cleans in neat, organized lines instead of bumping around randomly. The suction is strong. The self-emptying base means I do not have to empty the bin daily. The mop works well on hard floors, and the app is simple to use for setting no-go zones and schedules. It’s smart, moves with purpose, and cleans every area well.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Used it for the first time and I can’t tell you how impressed I am! From the room mapping to the mopping with no streaks! iRobot stopped supporting my $1000 Roomba 920 series on the app. Customer service would not reimburse me as it was out of warranty, video coming shortly!
Customer Review: I’m thoroughly impressed after switching from an iRobot Roomba j7+ and Braava m6 combo to the Ecovacs Deebot T90. The navigation and vision are the standout differences. While my Roomba constantly rammed into walls it had already mapped and the Braava struggled with both cleaning and movement, the T90 is remarkably intelligent. It avoids walls entirely and effortlessly weaves around moving obstacles like office chairs or people walking by. I’m even replacing a Deebot T80 – which I bought just a week before the T90 was available for purchase – with a second T90 for the upper floor. The faster charging alone justifies the upgrade, while the larger roller and hardware improvements are excellent bonuses. Just a quick reality check: this won’t eliminate all your chores, but it completely changes the routine. Instead of spending three hours on a deep clean every two weeks (only for the floors to get dirty again within days), I now spend just 5-10 minutes a day on quick maintenance like swapping water in tanks. The result is a house that stays “day-one clean” every single day. I highly recommend the T90 for anyone wanting a spotless home with minimal effort. PS: I had purchased my robot from ecovacs.com and this is a duplicate post of my review at ecovacs.com.

- Mapping may require a second run in complex layouts
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: The 25,000Pa suction power is no joke — it easily picks up dust, pet hair, crumbs, and even fine debris from both hardwood floors and carpets. I was honestly shocked at how deep of a clean it delivers compared to my previous robot vacuum. The extendable side brush and mop are game changers. It actually reaches into corners and along baseboards where dirt usually hides. The mopping function leaves my floors looking freshly cleaned without streaks, and it automatically adjusts when transitioning between surfaces. The all-in-one self-emptying and self-cleaning dock is incredibly convenient. It empties the dustbin, washes and dries the mop, and requires very little maintenance from me. It truly feels hands-free. The app is user-friendly, allowing me to customize cleaning schedules, set no-go zones, and control everything remotely. Voice control works seamlessly as well. Plus The sleek black design looks modern and premium.
Customer Review: I bought this because I had a previous, more expensive Robot vac and mop solution and hated it. I’ve had the previous device for a year, and spent a good chunk of money on it, only to have it be loud, hard to clean, hard to maintain, and it just didn’t work very well. When I finally got sick of wrestling with it, I asked Copilot for recommendations and this guy was at the top of the list. At half the price of the previous device, this seemed like it was worth a try. First, the documentation is awesome. There’s a large quick start card that’s easy to ready, easy to follow, and actually works for quick set up and mapping. The manual is great too – the parts list and illustrations are on a different sheet, so you can easily read the instructions and refer to the illustrations at the same time – which means when you go to do maintenance, it’s easy to follow and figure out. There’s a clear maintenance schedule – when to clean, when to replace – and when I walked through it all to make sure I understood, easily and quickly found all the parts and could follow all the instructions. Mapping my 1400 sq foot house took 15 or 20 minutes, and there weren’t any issues. Then I went into the software, named and organized the cleaning schedule, clicked the button and shazaam. The device itself is very quiet. I probably wouldn’t run it while sleeping, but you can easily watch TV without having to turn up the volume. Both the side brush and the mops swing out, so I got great coverage under the edges of cabinets, along the edges of floors, and around table legs, etc. The sweeper fins are great – not brushes, instead they’re soft rubber fins, so pet hair doesn’t tangle up. The mop heads provide great coverage and do a great job with damp mopping and spot cleaning, with good floor contact – but it flawlessly recognized even very thin carpets and mats and didn’t try to mop them. Best value for sure, so much better than the more expensive device I struggled with for a year. Highly recommended!
4. Tikom G8000 Max Robot Vacuum and Mop
★★★★☆ 4.4/5
The Tikom G8000 Max is a reliable, no-fuss combo that gets the basics right. With 5000Pa suction and a 150-minute battery, it handles medium-sized homes on a single charge. It doesn’t have advanced LiDAR mapping, but its random navigation is surprisingly thorough, and the vacuum-and-mop combo saves time. This model is perfect if you want a simple, effective robot without a steep learning curve or high cost.
Key Features That Stand Out
- ✓ 5000Pa Suction – Picks up pet hair, dust, and debris effectively
- ✓ Vacuum & Mop Simultaneously – 450ml dustbin and 300ml water tank
- ✓ 150-Minute Runtime – Covers up to 1500 sq ft on one charge
- ✓ Self-Charging – Returns to base automatically when battery is low
- ✓ App & Remote Control – Simple scheduling and mode selection
Why We Recommend It
We recommend the G8000 Max for its straightforward approach. It’s not the smartest navigator, but it’s thorough, quiet, and the combo cleaning works well for daily maintenance. If you don’t need room-specific maps or virtual walls, this robot does a solid job without complications.
Best For
First-time robot vacuum buyers or anyone wanting a simple, affordable combo that handles both vacuuming and mopping without high-tech features.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Easy to set up and use—great for beginners
- Long battery life covers most homes in one go
- Simultaneous vacuuming and mopping saves time
- Quiet operation won’t disturb daily activities
Cons:
- No systematic mapping—uses random pattern navigation
- Mopping is light-duty; not for sticky spills
- Can get stuck on thick rugs or thresholds
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I’ve been using the Tikom Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo (G8000 Max) for a couple of weeks now, and it’s been a pretty helpful addition to my routine. Compared to other vacuum cleaners for home, this one feels very simple and straightforward. It doesn’t have a complicated mapping system, which I actually appreciate—you just place it in a room, press start, and it figures its way around on its own. It’s surprisingly thorough, going over both hard floors and carpets without much issue, and the suction is strong enough to pick up pet hair and dust easily. Even though it’s not a stick vacuum cleaner or a cordless vacuum cleaner, it still gives that same sense of convenience without much effort on my end. I also like that it comes with different modes and functions that handle different floor conditions, whether it’s light dust or more stubborn dirt. It’s fairly lightweight and quiet, so it doesn’t feel intrusive while running. Overall, it’s not perfect, but it gets the job done and makes daily cleaning feel a lot less tiring.
Customer Review: The Tikom G8000 Max Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo has been a fantastic addition to my home. With its powerful 5000Pa suction, it effortlessly picks up dust, crumbs, and pet hair from both hard floors and carpets, leaving everything noticeably cleaner. I especially appreciate the vacuum-and-mop combo feature—it saves so much time and keeps my floors looking fresh with minimal effort. The battery life is impressive, easily covering large areas in one run, and the self-charging function makes it completely hands-off. Setup was simple, and controlling it through the app or remote is very convenient. Overall, it’s reliable, efficient, and a great value for anyone looking to simplify their cleaning routine.
5. DREAME Aqua10 Ultra Roller Robot Vacuum and Mop
★★★★☆ 4.5/5
The DREAME Aqua10 takes mopping to the next level with its innovative FluffRoll technology and continuous clean water system. Unlike traditional mops, it sprays clean water onto the roller while collecting dirty water, ensuring you’re never mopping with grimy water. The 30,000Pa suction is top-tier, and the extending mop gets right to the edges. It’s a premium choice for those who prioritize a spotless, streak-free hard floor finish.
Key Features That Stand Out
- ✓ Continuous Clean Water System – Sprays fresh water, collects dirty water for no re-soiling
- ✓ FluffRoll Technology – Spinning roller in opposite direction prevents debris scattering
- ✓ AutoSeal Roller Guard – Lifts and seals when on carpet to prevent wetting
- ✓ 30,000Pa Suction – Excellent for both vacuuming and carpet cleaning
- ✓ Extending Mop – Reaches baseboards and edges effectively
Why We Recommend It
We recommend the Aqua10 for its unique roller mopping system that genuinely improves over pad-based designs. The continuous clean water cycle means you’re always mopping with fresh water, and the roller provides better contact and pressure. It’s a standout for homes with primarily hard floors where mopping quality is the top priority.
Best For
Homeowners with extensive hard flooring (hardwood, tile, laminate) who want the best possible mopping performance and don’t mind a higher price for superior results.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Superior mopping with continuous fresh water and roller action
- Excellent edge and corner cleaning with extending mop
- Strong 30,000Pa suction for deep vacuuming
- Smart carpet detection and roller lift
Cons:
- Heavier and larger than many competitors
- Self-cleaning cycle takes about 2 minutes
- Premium price—among the most expensive models
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Makes life so much more convenient. No more manually vacuuming and mopping afterwards which is better for my back. The roller mop extends to reach as close to the baseboards as possible and the double roller brushes that pick up all the dirt, hair, etc. is powerful and tangle free. The little corner brush gets all the 90 degree corners with no issues. I no longer need 2 devices to clean my floors. This robot vacuums and mops at the same time or you can do one or the other. Easy to setup with your WiFi and use right out of the box. It’s a tad heavy so make sure you set it up where you would like to keep it permanently. What’s unique about the roller mop is it continually sprays clean water on it so you don’t have a dirty mop rolling dirty water on the floor. White color looks very sleek and inner components are simple to clean and replace.
Customer Review: As a roller-style robot, the Aqua10 does an excellent job. I also own the Dreame Ultra 50 model, and compared to that, this one has noticeably more downward pressure, which translates to deeper and more effective cleaning. The roller design provides a larger cleaning surface area than the dual spinning mop pads, and the added pressure really makes a difference in stubborn dirt. Floors feel visibly cleaner after each run. One thing to note is that the mop self-cleaning cycle takes a bit longer (around 2 minutes), but honestly, that’s very acceptable considering the cleaning performance. Map creation is fast — it mapped my 1,000 sq ft apartment in about 4–5 minutes. Battery capacity is also impressive; even after a full clean of my entire apartment, it has never dropped below 50%. Overall, the cleaning performance is better than that of the Ultra 50X. It covers more area, applies stronger pressure, and includes upgraded AI features like improved mapping, stronger suction, and better obstacle avoidance. Very satisfied with this purchase!
6. 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
★★★★☆ 4.4/5
This slim 2-in-1 combo is a budget-friendly workhorse that excels at daily maintenance. At just 2.87 inches tall, it slides under low furniture where dust bunnies hide. The brushless suction port resists hair tangles—a big plus for pet owners. While the mopping is basic (more of a damp wipe), the vacuuming is surprisingly strong, and the app control lets you schedule cleanings easily. It’s a solid choice for small to medium homes needing simple, daily cleanup.
Key Features That Stand Out
- ✓ Ultra-Slim 2.87″ Profile – Fits under beds, sofas, and tight spaces
- ✓ Brushless Suction Port – Tangle-free design ideal for pet hair
- ✓ Strong Suction – Picks up crumbs, dust, and debris effectively
- ✓ Smart App & Alexa Control – Schedule and control cleaning remotely

Why We Recommend It
We recommend this model for its simplicity and pet-friendly design. The tangle-free suction port is a game-changer for households with shedding pets, and the slim design reaches places other robots can’t. It’s not the most advanced, but for daily quick cleanups, it’s incredibly reliable and affordable.

Pros and Cons

- Very affordable price point
- Easy app scheduling and Alexa voice control
Cons:

- May pull on lightweight rugs or mats
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Update #2 June 7th 2025:This vacuum has not had any decrease in performance. It still saves my sanity daily with not stepping in endless crumbs and dog hair. It’s such a time saver. I just let it run and forget about it. The battery life is just as great as the day I got it and I still run it daily. I have yet to replace any parts on it. It’s been well worth the money spent. UPDATE: over 1 year later. We still love this thing. The battery lasts an impressively long time, more than enough to clean my entire house still. I have not had to replace anything on it yet. I do not use it to mop anymore and have covered the Velcro underneath so it doesn’t pick up hair. It is a great sweeping vacuum even after over a year of heavy daily usage. Well worth the money. This is my 1st robot vacuum & I’m in love! We have two children 5 & under and one very fluffy dog so I was sweeping at least 3-4 times a day. We run this vacuum twice a day and it picks up EVERYTHING. The mop feature is okay. It’s kind of like a little snail trail of water running across the floor. I’ll mostly use it for sweeping since it does great for that. It hasn’t gotten stuck yet although it does tend to pull up the smaller entryway rugs occasionally. It cleans my entire 1200 sq ft home in less than 90 minutes. You can schedule it to run at a certain time everyday using the Tuya app. This thing is also just fun to watch, it’s like when you would watch the DVD symbol floating around your TV waiting for it to his the corner just right. Anyways, I wouldn’t use it to replace deep cleaning but it definitely helps keep crumbs, dust, leaves & hair away in between.
Customer Review: I absolutely love this robot vacuum! It easily picks up dust, pet hair, and small bits from my tile and hardwood floors. The mopping function works surprisingly well, leaving a light shine after every run. What I like most is that the suction port never gets tangled with my dog’s hair. It’s slim enough to fit under my sofa and bed, and the battery lasts long enough to clean my whole apartment. The app is easy to use, and I can control it even when I’m away. It returns to charge by itself too. A great value for the price—totally worth it!
7. Redroad R11 Robot Vacuum and Mop
★★★★★ 5.0/5
The Redroad R11 stands out with its massive 120-day self-empty capacity—you’ll only need to empty the base about four times a year. Combined with 20,000Pa suction and reliable LiDAR navigation, it’s a low-maintenance powerhouse. The 3-in-1 cleaning (vacuum, sweep, mop) covers all bases, and the 5G WiFi ensures stable app connectivity. It’s an excellent choice for those who hate frequent upkeep.
Key Features That Stand Out
- ✓ 120-Day Self-Empty Capacity – Holds debris for up to four months
- ✓ 20,000Pa Suction – Strong enough for pet hair and carpet debris
- ✓ 360° LiDAR Navigation – Accurate mapping and efficient routes
- ✓ 3-in-1 Cleaning – Vacuum, sweep, and mop in one cycle
- ✓ 5G WiFi Support – Faster, more reliable app connection
Why We Recommend It
We recommend the R11 for its exceptional self-empty capacity—it’s the longest on our list. If you hate touching dust and dirt, this robot lets you truly forget about maintenance for months. The navigation is dependable, and the 3-in-1 cleaning makes it versatile for different floor types.
Best For
Busy households, vacation homes, or anyone who wants to minimize maintenance to the absolute minimum. Also great for larger homes where frequent emptying would be a hassle.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Extremely long self-empty interval—up to 120 days
- Strong suction and reliable LiDAR navigation
- 3-in-1 cleaning covers vacuuming, sweeping, mopping
- Stable 5G WiFi connection for app control
Cons:
- Mopping is light-duty; not for deep scrubbing
- Heavier than many models due to large dustbag
- Corner brush can occasionally miss tight angles
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. The difference in my house already is shocking. I got one of these few years ago but not good at all, although I suspect the quality has really improved over the years ,very easy set up, connected to our Wi-Fi without difficulty, no problem sensing stairs and other objects. also is make my child change what they leave everywhere but now they start to clean up the ground when they want to let the robot run around, I thought this thing is so great. Tried the mopping function and it does OK but doesn’t do a deep scrub so it’s only good for light masses which is fine. Last a long time on its battery charge, over two hours and still going also manages to get over small lips without any difficulty such as carpet or slight change in floor level.
Customer Review: Really surprised and impressed with this robot vacuum. It has strong suction, maps the house well, and avoids getting stuck. The self-empty station is super convenient, and it handles pet hair and carpets way better than expected. additional bonus: kids like it!
8. Eureka E20 Robot Vacuum and Mop
★★★☆☆ 3.7/5
The Eureka E20 offers a bagless self-emptying station and powerful 8000Pa suction, but it comes with significant trade-offs. The bagless design is convenient and wasteful-free, and the suction is undeniably strong. However, the simultaneous vacuuming and mopping create a wet dirt mixture inside the unit that can lead to clogs and maintenance headaches. It’s a polarizing model—some love the power and bagless convenience, while others struggle with the internal mess and app issues.
Key Features That Stand Out
- ✓ Bagless Self-Emptying Station – No bags to buy; just empty the canister
- ✓ 8000Pa Suction – Extremely strong for lifting embedded debris
- ✓ 45-Day Capacity – Large dustbin holds weeks of debris
- ✓ Anti Hair-Tangling Brush – Reduces maintenance for pet owners
- ✓ LiDAR Navigation – Accurate mapping and efficient cleaning paths
Why We Recommend It
We recommend the E20 only for specific users who prioritize raw suction power and hate buying bags. The bagless system is innovative, but the simultaneous vacuum-mop design creates a messy internal situation that not everyone will tolerate. It’s a high-maintenance high-performer.
Best For
Pet owners with mostly hard floors who want maximum suction and don’t mind occasional deep cleaning of the robot itself. Not recommended for those who want truly hands-off mopping.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Exceptionally strong 8000Pa suction
- Bagless self-empty station eliminates bag costs
- Large capacity—45 days between emptyings
- Anti-tangle brush works well with pet hair
Cons:
- Vacuuming and mopping simultaneously creates wet dirt clogs
- App is unintuitive and sometimes buggy
- Reports of leaking from the dock over time
- Mopping logic can be inconsistent
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Right from the moment I unpacked it, I was struck by its sleek and modern design. It doesn’t look like a clunky cleaning appliance but rather a stylish addition to my home decor, fitting in well with any modern – style living space. This isn’t just a pretty face though, as it has completely transformed my home cleaning routine, especially as a pet owner. Right off the bat, I was impressed by how quiet this vacuum operates. When I’m working from home, I can set it running without any disruptions to my concentration. Even when it’s in the same room, the noise is barely noticeable, just a soft, unobtrusive hum. This is a vast improvement over my old vacuum, which would startle my pets and make me wince every time I used it. The suction power is truly remarkable. It effortlessly picks up the tiniest pet hairs, as well as larger debris. With my furry friends shedding constantly, I used to struggle to keep my floors clean. But now, the Eureka E20 Plus makes short work of the mess. The anti hair tangling brush has worked very well and I didn’t have to constantly detangle it like what I had to do to my old robot vacuum. The bagless self emptying station is a godsend. With a whopping 45 day capacity, I don’t have to worry about emptying the vacuum frequently. Whether I’m swamped with work or away on a trip, I know my floors will stay clean. Emptying the self emptying station every few weeks is a breeze. The accompanying app is a joy to use. It’s incredibly intuitive, allowing me to easily schedule cleaning sessions, adjust the suction power, and even set no go zones. I can control the vacuum from anywhere using my smartphone, which is super convenient. The mapping feature of this robot vacuum is spot – on. It quickly and accurately maps out my home, navigating around furniture and obstacles with ease. It knows exactly which areas it has cleaned and which ones it still needs to cover. This means no more missed spots or redundant cleaning, making the whole process highly efficient. The fact that it doubles as a mop is an added bonus. After it vacuums, it can then mop the floors, leaving them not only clean but also shiny. This is perfect for maintaining a clean home without having to use multiple cleaning appliances. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the Eureka E20 Plus. It’s a reliable, efficient, and user – friendly robot vacuum that I would highly recommend to anyone, especially those with pets. It has truly made my life easier and my home cleaner. I got this when it was on sale which makes it an even better deal, five stars all the way!
Customer Review: Update (7.7.24 – 8 months): Reducing my Rating to 1. I’m sorry I purchased this and feel as though it was a waste of money. At best I can use this as a regular vacuum without the mop function from here out but now need to find a new solution to mopping my main floor’s hardwoods and kitchen tiles. What a waste. I had noticed that the internal collection compartment was getting gunked up. It seems that because it is vacuuming and mopping at the same time, it is basically mixing dust and water to make a mess inside the vacuum. When you normally mop, you sweep the area first or vacuum it, then mop. This device mops while vacuuming which makes wet dirt. This then is not ejected into the waste cannister correctly and can quickly build up. Essentially, you need to manually clean the vacuum every time you use it with the mopping feature defeating the purpose of the automatic waste cannister. Today I noticed the unit is leaking. I don’t know from where but I found a wet spot beneath the charging station and it appears the hardwood floors beneath have been slightly damaged due to getting wet over time. I wanted to like this product and did my best to give it every chance. Unfortunately it fails to deliver on what it was designed to do and in the future I will not be looking to Eureka for my vacuum or mop needs. (original post) Purchased this for the 1st floor of my house 4 months ago. Tile kitchen, hard wood hall, hard wood dining room with an area rug. I also have a step down into a sunken living room and on the opposite side of the house, a step down into a sunken den. I don’t have pets. I knew the living room and den would need the vac picked up and set back down which was fine. My main goal was to get something that would mop the kitchen and hardwoods regularly. Here’s my experience thus far. What I like:- The cleanout cannister doesn’t need to be emptied after each cleaning, is easy to use and dump out, and doesn’t require special bags like some of the other brands.- The mop feature has been doing a decent job keeping the floors clean.- For a mop and vac unit, the price was good compared to some of the other brands. What I don’t like:- The App is not the best. Some screens just need you to select a different option but other screens require you to also select a tiny check at the top corner. Not very intuitive. The room maps allow you to set up named regions and even virtual walls but there’s no options to set mop or vac intensity by room. For example, I’d want my kitchen mopped with the highest mop settings but the halls with the lowest. Also, I’ve set it to not mop at all and just vacuum and found it mopping anyways.- The logic gets confused and I have one spot where it will continually return to, back up, move a few feet away, then return to the same location again. It will do this over and over until it runs out of charge. I’ve tried remapping the area, relocating the base station, doesn’t matter. I just now set up a virtual wall in the App to try and stop this from happening.- Mopping reservoir has no gauge and the vac and app do not indicate when the unit is empty. As I haven’t tried any other brands of vac/mop combo’s, I don’t know if any of these issues are better or worse industry wise.
9. Mova P10 Pro Ultra Gen 2 Robot Vacuum and Mop
★★★★☆ 4.4/5
The Mova P10 Pro Ultra Gen 2 is a feature-packed competitor with 26,000Pa suction and hygienic 212°F hot water mop washing. The TurboPress tech applies 12N of downward pressure for stubborn stains, and the extendable mop reaches edges. The all-in-one dock washes and dries the mop with hot air. However, this model controversially drops the RGB camera, relying solely on LiDAR, which can affect obstacle avoidance with small objects like cords or shoes.
Key Features That Stand Out
- ✓ 26,000Pa Suction – Powerful cleaning for carpets and hard floors
- ✓ TurboPress Tech – 12N downward pressure for tough stains
- ✓ 212°F Hot Water Wash – Hygienically cleans mop with hot water
- ✓ 1-Hour Hot Air Drying – Prevents mildew and odors
- ✓ Extendable Mop – Reaches baseboards and edges
Why We Recommend It
We recommend the P10 Pro Ultra Gen 2 for its strong mopping hygiene and powerful suction. The hot water wash and dry cycle keep the mop fresh without user intervention. It’s a great alternative to the ECOVACS T90 if you prefer hot water cleaning over a roller mop, but be aware of the reduced obstacle avoidance without a camera.
Best For
Families concerned about mop hygiene (allergies, bacteria) and those with mostly hard floors needing deep mopping. Also good for users who prioritize hot water cleaning over advanced obstacle detection.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Excellent hot water mop washing and drying for hygiene
- Very strong 26,000Pa suction
- Extendable mop reaches edges well
- All-in-one dock automates maintenance
Cons:
- No RGB camera—weaker obstacle avoidance than some rivals
- Can bump into small objects like shoes or cords
- Firmware may need updates for optimal navigation
- Slightly higher price than some competitors
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: I’m really impressed with the suction power on the P10 Pro Ultra Gen2. The 26,000Pa suction easily picks up pet hair, crumbs, and fine dust from both my hardwood floors and carpets. It mops just as well, applying enough pressure to remove sticky spots without damaging the floor. The hot water mop washing and automatic drying keep everything fresh and odor free, which makes it truly hands free and perfect for busy households.
Customer Review: Right out the box, everything has been perfect so far. It mapped my house very quickly and setup was easy. Vacuuming has been excellent so far and was able to avoid many of the shoes lying around. This model does lose the RGB camera up at the front though which will probably be a big turn off for many. It does get real close or even slightly bump into some of the shoes during my initial test/run. The base station comes with a nice upgrade and it destroys when it comes to picking up things in carpets. Lastly, the mopping is phenomenal, you can really see the extra mop RPMs and pressure compared to the first. Final thoughts, it definitely seems like a slight upgrade depending on certain use cases. If you leave a lot of small things lying around, this can be a downgrade as it doesn’t handle things like cables well. However, I tend to pick up certain things and not leave much around so this was actually better compared to the p10 gen1. The removal of the camera is very questionable and keeping it would’ve made it the ultimate value robot. However, this can still be a solid upgrade despite the trade offs. I’m hoping there will be firmware upgrades to further improve the laser detection/scanning they use.
10. Upgraded 2900Pa Super Thin Robot Vacuum
★★★★★ 5.0/5
This ultra-slim robot is designed for getting under furniture where dust and hair accumulate. At just 2.99 inches tall, it accesses spaces most robots can’t. The 2900Pa suction is modest but sufficient for light debris and pet hair on hard floors and low-pile carpets. It’s a no-frills, tangle-free vacuum with a 120-minute runtime and quiet operation. Think of it as a specialized tool for hard-to-reach areas rather than a full replacement for a larger robot.
Key Features That Stand Out
- ✓ 2.99″ Ultra-Slim Profile – Slides under beds, sofas, and cabinets
- ✓ Tangle-Free Brush Roll – Resists hair wrap, ideal for pet owners
- ✓ 2900Pa Suction – Adequate for light debris and surface cleaning
- ✓ 120-Minute Runtime – Covers small to medium areas
- ✓ Quiet & Anti-Fall – Low noise and cliff sensors
Why We Recommend It
We recommend this robot specifically for its slim form factor. If you have low furniture and struggle to clean underneath, this is the most affordable solution. It’s not meant to replace a full-sized robot but to complement one, handling the tight spots others miss.
Best For
Homes with lots of low furniture (platform beds, low sofas, cabinets) and pet owners who need a secondary robot for under-furniture cleaning. Also great for small apartments where space is tight.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Extremely slim—fits where other robots can’t
- Tangle-free design works well with pet hair
- Very affordable price
- Quiet and simple to operate
Cons:
- Suction power is lower than premium models
- No self-empty, mopping, or advanced navigation
- Random navigation may miss spots in larger rooms
- Not suitable for thick carpets
Customer Reviews
Customer Review: Between my shedding Labrador and my daughter’s hair, I felt like I was vacuuming every day — and still losing. This robot changed everything. It keeps up with the hair, never gets tangled, and honestly, it feels like it was made for pet owners. Plus, it’s so slim it fits under couches where the hair monsters hide. Absolute win
Customer Review: After a long day at work, the last thing I want to do is clean. This robot vacuum allows me to schedule cleanings while I’m away, so I come home to spotless floors. It’s smart and efficient—worth every penny!
Complete Buying Guide for Best Cleaning Vacuum Robot
Essential Factors We Consider
When choosing a robot vacuum, suction power (measured in Pa) is critical—higher numbers mean better pickup on carpets and embedded dirt. Navigation system matters too: LiDAR is superior to camera-based or random navigation for efficient, methodical cleaning. Battery life should cover your home’s square footage on one charge; 120+ minutes is ideal for larger spaces. Dustbin capacity and self-empty functionality determine how often you’ll need to intervene—larger bases with longer intervals mean true hands-off operation. For mopping, consider mop type (roller vs. pad), water control, and whether the dock washes and dries the mop automatically. Smart features like app control, voice compatibility, and no-go zones add convenience but may increase complexity.
Budget Planning
Robot vacuums range from under $200 for basic models to over $1000 for premium all-in-one systems. Budget models ($200-$400) offer decent suction and basic navigation but often lack self-empty or advanced mopping. Mid-range ($400-$800) provides the best balance with LiDAR, self-empty bases, and capable mopping. Premium ($800+) includes top-tier suction, roller mopping, hot water wash, and sophisticated AI obstacle avoidance. Determine must-have features—like self-empty for pet owners or roller mop for hard floors—and allocate budget accordingly.
Final Thoughts
The best cleaning vacuum robot for you depends on your home’s layout, floor types, and lifestyle. Pet owners should prioritize suction power and tangle-free brushes. Homes with mostly hard floors benefit from advanced mopping systems like rollers or hot water wash. If you hate maintenance, look for large self-empty capacities and auto-wash docks. Our top pick, the Tikom L8000 Plus, offers the best overall balance of performance, quiet operation, and value. For ultimate mopping, the ECOVACS T90 PRO OMNI is unmatched. And for budget buyers, the DREAME L40 Ultra Gen 2 delivers premium features at a mid-range price.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How often should I empty the self-empty base?
A: Most self-empty bases hold 30-90 days of debris for an average home. With pets or heavy use, check every 30 days. Models like the Redroad R11 claim up to 120 days. Empty when the indicator light shows full.
Q: Can robot vacuums handle pet hair effectively?
A: Yes, especially models with strong suction (5000Pa+) and tangle-free brush rolls. Look for rubber fins instead of bristle brushes, and self-empty bases to avoid frequent bin cleaning. Our top picks like Tikom L8000 Plus and Mova P10 Pro excel with pet hair.
Q: Is mopping with a robot vacuum effective?
A: It depends on the system. Roller mops (like ECOVACS T90, DREAME Aqua10) provide continuous clean water and pressure, offering deep cleaning. Pad mopping is lighter and better for daily maintenance. For sticky spills or deep grime, roller systems are superior.
Q: Do I need to pick up clutter before running the robot?
A: Yes, for best results. While AI obstacle avoidance (on models like ECOVACS T90) handles shoes and cords well, small objects like socks, cables, or toys can still cause jams. A quick 2-minute tidy-up ensures uninterrupted cleaning.
Q: What is the typical lifespan of a robot vacuum?
A: With regular maintenance (cleaning brushes, filters, and sensors), most robot vacuums last 3-5 years. Battery life degrades over time; replacement batteries are often available. Self-empty docks may need occasional filter changes.
Ready to transform your cleaning routine? The right robot vacuum can save you hours each week and keep your floors consistently spotless. Based on our testing, the Tikom L8000 Plus is our top all-around pick for its quiet operation, reliable mapping, and 90-day self-empty base. For those who demand the deepest mopping, the ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 PRO OMNI is worth the investment. And if you’re watching your budget, the DREAME L40 Ultra Gen 2 delivers premium features without the premium price.
