Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I have a Siberian cat and a Samoyed. The amount of hair they produce is insane. This vacuum is a miracle worker. The suction is so strong it literally pulls the dead undercoat right out. The 2L bin means I can groom both of them without stopping. The clippers work great for trimming sanitary areas. Best purchase for pet care ever.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “This little baby got the job done right. I have a golden doodle and I dislocated my shoulder this winter and despite all my best intentions my baby needed a good haircut. She was a rescue and horribly matted when we first got her and it took me 6 days to get her trimmed down enough to even really wash her. After that battle I wasn’t looking forward to trimming her down again. This grooming kit made it so easy. I took her down to a 1/2 all over and then 1/8 on her legs and she looks fantastic. The noise wasn’t as bad as I had expected either. Just kicked the volume up a couple notches and I was still able to follow along while cleaning her up. The noise didn’t bother her one bit either. The nail grinder is amazing too! So easy to use she didn’t pull her paws back once. I wish the container was a little bigger. We emptied it so many times but thats to be expected with how much poof she had. One of my best purchases in quite a while. Have already recommended it to several friends.”
Customer Review: “We adopted a cockapoo a while back and his hair gets long and needs groomed daily and the groomer gets expensive. I saw these and after reading the reviews I thought I’d give it a try. It surprised me it’s not loud enough to scare our pets but powerful enough to cut his hair. I’d say we need a little more practice but it does a great job. Afterwards no hair on the floor or us. We did have to stop and empty it a few times but he was also way past due for a haircut. Definitely recommend trying them.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I have a long hair cat and several double coated cats. Ms long hair in the pic will not clean herself or her sanitary area. She has terribly greasy skin, a lot of dandruff and she smells like an outhouse. Despite numerous baths, she does not come clean or smell nice. My double coats can each fill a bathroom size trash can with hair every week. It’s exhausting to brush them for an hour every day. I didn’t have any hopes for this gizmo but WOW! The first thing I did was shave Ms stinky down every where except her face, feet and tuff at the end of her tail. Then I tackled her with baby wipes until they came away clean. Within a few days, she was no longer greasy, i didn’t see any dandruff and she was more active. I see her grooming herself all the time now. Ms stinky pants is not smelly anymore and is a very happy girl! The other cats are so much nicer to groom with the comb on the vacuum attachment. The fluff balls that used to float in the air and make my face itch when using a regular brush are now completely sucked into the vacuum. It’s super easy to clean and very quiet. 90% of my cats love to be brushed with the vacuum on the low setting. I just finished trimming Ms stinky pants (not her real name) for the second time since I’ve had the machine (about 6-8 weeks) and she complained some but didn’t move around. I really think she feels better because she acts like a happy kitty now. If you’re on the fence about this don’t be afraid to try it. It’s truly amazing how well it works and how easily the cats got used to it. I even tried it on the mastiff and he didn’t even notice.”
Customer Review: “Works great for cat grooming. I haven’t used all the attachments yet but the ones I have used work great and keeps everything clean. It’s very easy to use and understand. And for being a vaccuum, its pretty quiet.”
4. oneisall Dog Grooming Vacuum

It offers a great balance of a quiet 59 dB motor, three adjustable suction levels, and a full suite of seven tools. A key advantage is that the clippers, paw trimmer, and nail grinder can all be used independently of the vacuum hose, adding to its flexibility. It’s a strong, all-around performer that doesn’t break the bank.

- Relatively quiet operation for a stress-free experience.
- Strong value proposition with a full accessory kit.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “This thing is awesome! It has multiple attachments. It gets a great amount of hair off the dog and sucks it right up. We have a long haired dog and it works great. Our dog has never looked so good. Super easy to use. Would highly recommend. It has 2 levels of power – one is lighter sounding so it allowed our dog to get used to it. I even pushed hard with the brush and our dog didn’t even flinch- very safe.”
Customer Review: “Meet Montana. The sweetest baby. We missed a grooming appt due to the snowmageddon of 2026. Mrs Tana needed a grooming badly. I must have looked at a million options before asking Amazon to recommend the best option for me. This was it. I unpackaged and glanced at the directions. Simple enough. I saw that there is a separate charging cord which later determined is for the clippers.Plugged it in and started right away. I started out with the largest guard a 23. Nope. 18, nope. 9. Perfect. Mrs Tana has course curly hair and the 9 guard moved right through it. The larger guards were getting caught. The vacuum is quiet enough not to give Tana anxiety and the combo of the clippers and vacuum is magic. I have regular clippers for the pups but they are an absolute nightmare. The is thing is a dream.Every once in a while, Tana would look at me like I pulled her hair but would lay right back down. Purely loving the time with mom. The motion is like swift strokes and clearing the guard about every third stroke. Pull the hair out of the guard and it sucks it right up. The entire process took me an hour and a half. And I emptied the canister 10 times. I think I’m going to buy one of those cages to put dog hair in for the birds. So much hair. I used the deshedder after, which is great and I used the little grooming attachment for Tana’s toes. That is going to take some practice. I will attempt doing a cute cut on her face next time. This time just wanted to play it safe. She feels so much better. I like that I can vacuum her daily. Easy to clean and store too.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “I have two 50# golden doodles I groom myself. One has the wavy/curly coat of her standard poodle mother, the other has the straighter coat of his golden retriever father. The furMe Professional Plus FM-02 makes clipping them so much easier. I previously clipped them with a dog clipper, but the vacuum combined with clippers is genius! The motor has three speeds to increase suction. The first and second speeds are quiet, third speed is a bit noisier, but pulls the hair straighter, making clipping some of the wavier/curlier parts easier. Neither of the dogs minds the noise for any of the settings. My male lies on his back and goes to sleep while I’m trimming him. The canister is clear so I can see when it’s full as it fills up fast without any hair flying all over my room. It empties easily in the trash and reattaches quickly and I’m good to go for more clipping. I’m 70 years old and have arthritis in my hands which makes handling anything heavy for any length of time very difficult. The clipper attached to the hose isn’t heavy and maneuvers easily. I trim them on the floor and the hose is plenty long enough to get around them. If I had them up on a table, because they’re so tall, it would require a longer hose if the unit were on the floor. The vacuum itself isn’t heavy either so could be placed on a table or counter. The hose is about 6 ft long. The clipper doesn’t get hot as I’m covering a lot of real estate on these dogs! Grooming one dog can cost well over $100 so I’m saving lots of money trimming both of them every 6 — 8 weeks. I purchased this in May of 2024 so it was still under warranty in March 2025 when the clipper quit working. I was so upset, thinking customer service would be awful, I’d have a big run around, and I’d end up having to return to my old clippers without the vacuum. The vacuum still worked great, but I didn’t need the de-shedding or other functions so I was pretty unhappy. Just an aside, I had a yellow lab that blew coat twice a year. I wish I’d had this then! It would have kept me sane as I could have just “vacuumed” the mounds of shed hair!! Back to my issue: I texted customer support and got an email back within the hour!!! When does that ever happen in today’s indifferent world of customer service?! After a couple of conversations via email, doing some of the suggested tests on the machine to determine the problem and then being given a commitment to shipping me a new hose, which is all that was needed, solved the problem and I’m back to clipping again. Thanks so much furMe!!”
Customer Review: “This is got be the best product that I have ever used. Granted my dog does not like it at the beginning of each use, but, she gets used to it. The attachments are great are work really well. I have ZERO complaints about this. I love that that there is no hair flying around when you groom your pet.The sound level is very good, and I am very amazed at how quite it can be for the size that it is. Overall its easy to use, move and transport. Since I am mentioning the ease of use, the collection canister is very easy to empty and the filters are very easy to clean.Overall again, it is well worth the money that it is and being the skeptical that I was, I am very AMAZED.”
6. Dog Grooming Vacuum
This grooming vacuum kit is a strong contender with its 10,000Pa suction and three adjustable modes. It comes with a six-piece tool set, including a clipper with six guard combs and a nail grinder. Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “It’s easy to use. It’s not too noisy so even my corgi let me groom her. I like that you have three choices of speed as well as how easily the hair is removed and sucked into machine. I haven’t tried the trimmer yet. I’ll update when I do.”
Customer Review: “I have two little poodle mixes and their hair grows so fast. I prefer grooming them myself to save money but hated dealing with the mess and getting sneezy. This machine is great for cutting and getting all the hair so I can trim them inside the house. It comes with multiple tools and different sizes for the trimmers. It’s noisy but I’d say a little less than a hair dryer. It is so easy to use and it’s actually fun!”

- ✓ 5-Piece Professional Tool Set: Includes clipper with guards, de-shedding brush, and nozzle.
- ✓ Low-Noise Design: Operates quietly enough for most pets to tolerate.
Why We Recommend It
If suction power is your non-negotiable priority, the PG01 is a fantastic alternative to the more expensive AIRROBO. It delivers nearly identical peak suction in a slightly more compact package. It’s a robust, capable machine that makes quick work of thick undercoat and keeps your grooming area pristine.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Excellent 12,000Pa suction power rivals the best in class.
- Three adjustable suction levels provide good control.

- Strong performance for both brushing and clipping.
Cons:
- Corded design limits range of motion.
- The included clipper is functional but may not be as refined as standalone professional clippers.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Absolutely amazing product! This pet grooming vacuum exceeded my expectations. It works perfectly as both a grooming tool and a vacuum, making the whole process clean and stress-free.The suction power is strong enough to collect all the loose hair while trimming, which means no more mess all over the house. The clippers are sharp, smooth, and don’t pull the hair. My dog stayed calm during the entire grooming session because the noise level is surprisingly low.It saves time, money, and trips to the groomer. Super convenient, easy to use, and very well made. If you have pets that shed or need regular grooming, this is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!”
Customer Review: “This thing was great, powerful, cut right through thick fur. I was shaving a disabled elderly dog, his fur had a few mattes that this cut through with no issues, waste goes into the machines reservoir. comes with 4 different attachments ( vacuum nozzle, brush, clippers and vacuum brush , the clippers have 4 different sized guards)standard plug in, ( it is not wireless, make sure you have an available outlet)it is easy to connect and disconnect the different attachments with the release button. it has 3 speeds, though even the lowest setting is more than enough to remove any hair from your doggo. It does make a vacuum noise that is noticeable however it is not that loud, my normally reactive elderly dog wasnt nearly as frightened with this vs a normal pair of clippers. It comes with a case, probably better to remove the hose when storing away so that its not as bulky. It doesnt take up too much room, however it does come with a lot of pieces ( with a storage bag for all the accessories ).”

The oneisall LM5 is the suction champion of our list, boasting an incredible 15,000Pa. It’s specifically engineered for huge shedders and thick double coats, featuring an upgraded grooming brush with safe bristles. Despite this immense power, it operates at a relatively low 60 dB. It proves that immense power and relative quiet can coexist, making it a top-tier choice for serious pet maintenance.

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “My MIL purchased this to be able to groom her two dogs. She was impressed with how easy it was to use, and how she had no issues with either dog the way she did with traditional grooming clippers. My dog is a 97 pound yellow lab- there’s a ton of fur this guy is sporting and even more throughout the house when he’s shedding. So I purchased this to help keep down the amount of hair in the house, and I was skeptical. I was looking for a deshedding tool specifically and I liked that this one has the button that sucks the loose hair into the unit. The size is great! It’s not heavy like you would expect- easily portable, and compact. The sound does not bother my dog at all, even on the highest setting; in fact he looks forward to his deshedding sessions. And the suction is strong without causing him any discomfort. We use this once a week consistently and have noticed a significant decrease in hair around the house. I love the convenient carry bag for the hose and attachments, the fact that the cord gets stored under the unit, and how many attachments came with this. It’s easy to put together, easy to use and easy to empty and clean. It’s also extremely compact and takes up very little space. Fantastic design!! Every pet owner needs this- save money on getting your dog groomed because this unit makes it possible for you to do it yourself without hassle. Will never NOT have this in my arsenal!!”
Customer Review: “I was honestly skeptical about how well this would work at this price point, but this little grooming vacuum has exceeded my expectations. My dog is a 75-lb German Shepherd with anxiety, and she loves this thing. The moment I take it out, she runs to her brushing spot and waits. Even if I pull it out just to vacuum the couch, she’s begging to be brushed. That alone feels like a small miracle. It’s made a huge difference with shedding (double-coat dog owners will understand: hair. everywhere.), and I’ve noticed she’s also become less fearful of our regular vacuum and other loud household noises, which was an unexpected bonus. The only downside: within the first few months, the hose started separating at the seams. I taped it at first, but eventually it split badly enough that it couldn’t be salvaged. I emailed the company, and Sue responded right away and sent me a replacement hose free of charge within a few days. Excellent customer service.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Effective, affordable, and surprisingly anxiety-friendly for a nervous dog. Would absolutely buy again.”

Customer Reviews
Customer Review: “Works great! I brush my cat with the vacuum turned off, because I don’t want to make him scared of the noise. Then when there is a bunch of fur on it I hold it at arms length away from my cat and turn it on for a few seconds to suck up the fur. I tried a different type of vacuum brush, but it was big, had a hose, plugged into the wall and the on/off switch wasn’t on the hand held part… everything about it freaked out my cat. This one is way less scary for him.”
Customer Review: “I love this kit! My 19 year old cat has difficulty grooming herself. She likes to be brushed but will only tolerate it for short periods. I get twice as much hair in the same amount of time. The attachments are great! The unit sounds like a small vacuum and didn’t bother my cat at all. I highly recommend.”
10. oneisall Dog Grooming Vacuum
This is another strong offering from oneisall, very similar in spec to product #4 but in a grey colorway. It combines grooming and vacuuming, with the key benefit that the clippers, paw trimmer, and nail grinder can all be used cordlessly after charging. Why We Recommend It
This model is all about convenience and flexibility. The cordless clippers are a huge win for reaching tricky spots or for grooming outside the range of an outlet. It’s essentially the same great system as product #4, so if you find this one at a better price or prefer the grey color, it’s an equally excellent choice. It’s a testament to oneisall’s consistent quality across their range.
Best For
Dog and cat owners who want the convenience of cordless clippers and grinders alongside a capable vacuum system. Perfect for grooming in different rooms, on the patio, or at a friend’s house without needing to find an outlet for every tool.

Complete Buying Guide for Best Cat Grooming Vacuum
Essential Factors We Consider
Choosing the right cat grooming vacuum hinges on a few critical factors. Suction power, measured in Pascals (Pa), is paramount—higher numbers (like 10,000Pa+) mean more effective hair capture, especially for thick undercoats. Noise level in decibels (dB) is equally crucial for cats; anything under 60 dB is generally considered quiet, with models around 48-50 dB being ideal for skittish pets. Dust cup capacity (liters) determines how often you’ll stop to empty it—1.5L is standard, but 2L is better for heavy shedders. Finally, assess the tool kit: does it include the specific brushes, clippers, and trimmers you need? A versatile kit with standalone tool capability adds significant value.
Budget Planning
You can find a capable cat grooming vacuum from $60 to $250. Budget models under $80 will handle basic brushing and light shedding but often have weaker suction and smaller bins. The sweet spot for most owners is the $80-$150 range, where you get good suction, quiet operation, and a comprehensive tool set. Premium models over $150 offer maximum power, large capacities, and premium build quality for multi-pet homes or professional-level results. Consider how often you’ll use it and the severity of your pet’s shedding to determine your budget.
Final Thoughts
A cat grooming vacuum is an investment in a cleaner home and a more pleasant grooming experience for your pet. The best choice isn’t always the most powerful or expensive; it’s the one that matches your cat’s temperament and your grooming routine. For a nervous cat, prioritize quiet operation above all. For a Maine Coon that blows its coat, prioritize suction and bin size. By focusing on these core factors, you can select a tool that will make grooming a bonding activity instead of a chore.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are grooming vacuums safe for cats?
A: Yes, when used correctly. The suction at the brush head is gentle and designed to lift hair, not pull on the skin. Always start on the lowest setting to let your cat acclimate, and never use the vacuum directly on sensitive areas like the face or ears without a specific gentle attachment.
Q: Can I use a dog grooming vacuum on my cat?
A: Often, yes. Many dog vacuums work fine on cats, especially for short-haired breeds. However, cats are generally more noise-sensitive. Look for models specifically marketed as “quiet” or “for cats” with noise levels below 60 dB. Also, ensure the brush attachments are suitable for a cat’s finer, often more delicate coat.
Q: How often should I use a grooming vacuum on my cat?
A: For short-haired cats, 1-2 times per week is sufficient. For long-haired or heavy-shedding cats, daily or every other day brushing with the vacuum attachment is recommended to prevent mats and drastically reduce loose hair around your home.
Q: Do I need to bathe my cat before using the grooming vacuum?
Q: What’s the difference between a deshedding tool and a grooming vacuum?
A: A traditional deshedding tool (like a Furminator) is a manual rake that pulls out undercoat. It’s very effective but creates a mess of flying hair. A grooming vacuum combines a similar de-shedding brush head with a suction motor that immediately captures the pulled hair into a canister, containing the mess. The vacuum is cleaner but often slightly less aggressive on the coat than a top-tier manual tool.
