My Usage and Overall Comments: Have had the Bot for 2-3 weeks now. Mostly used on 2nd floor (bedrooms/bathrooms/Loft area) which is 90% carpet. Occasionally used on 1st floor, about 50% carpet. Overall it seems to do a pretty good job. Much quieter than my old Neato! Cleans my 2nd floor on a single charge with BOOST cleaning. Overall I feel it’s a good Robot Vac, but wouldn’t spend more than $300 for it. The self-vacuuming / evacuation unit works well, typically removing 95% of the bot vac’s contents. So far have not had any issues with it getting stuck. Bump avoidance is pretty good. No issues transitioning between carpet and hardwood. Although it may not take the most efficient paths, it does appear to do a very thorough clean.

This beat out two other major brands – Eufy L60 and Roborock Q5 Max+. First, let me start with some of the “bad” – but please note that while there’s quite a bit I’m going to list, it’s all mostly small stuff and most of it has to do with the app. Cons – App is “okay” at best. Mapping works but it’s not the best at defining rooms. Can’t see live location on the map. Okay – that was a lot, but nothing truly major. Pros – The self empty base works wonders. It fully empties the vac each time. The vacuum just plain works. My house is mostly hard flooring with a couple rugs. I have 5 animals that shed like crazy. This is the only vacuum that actually picks up the fur, especially on the hard floors. It’s not very loud. Navigating works well – it sticks within the room boundaries, avoids no-go zones, and doesn’t get stuck. I previously tried the Eufy and Roborock, but the Shark’s actual performance makes up for any app limitations. While the Shark’s app is a bit more limited and the mapping isn’t as great – the actual performance of the Shark makes up for it. It’s now been 2 weeks of using the Shark, I haven’t actually vacuumed once myself. If that isn’t proof of good results then I don’t know what it is.

It runs seemingly forever. And picked up stuff from the floor we had never seen before! We had just vacuumed with a Dyson which was full at end of session and was STUNNED at how much ROPVACNIC picked up afterwards. The container was FULL! Amazing. For this price it is a steal. Very happy with our purchase. With regard to floor washing. It has a chamber you put water or cleaning solution in. There’s a pad which glides along the floor cleans, sanitizes and damp mops. The reservoir feeds water to the pad. This is not intended for carpets just floors. Great to have both features in one very inexpensive machine! It also comes with an app or remote control which lets you control it! Fun Fun! Perfect for the elderly or people who are unable to use a vacuum or mop. Mom uses it. She’s 95!

I bought this vacuum with relatively low expectations—but it not only met them but exceeded them! It cleans and mops perfectly everywhere (including that sacred space under our beds), runs for about 2 hours without needing to recharge, and the water reservoir lasts for the entire cleaning process (approximately 1,500 sq ft!). It comes with a remote control and a magnetic strip to set up no-go zones. It also has a mobile app and creates a map of the area. While the map isn’t 100% accurate all the time, it doesn’t affect the cleaning quality. This is likely something that could be improved with a future software update. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend it!

Maps and works well when it doesn’t get stuck on dumb things – it cannot navigate my rugs, gets stuck all the time, almost every time. I’ve updated all the settings I can. Heck, even my Shark, that died after 2 years and is a paperweight, or my Neato, never had any issues navigating those rugs. UPDATE – Dropping it down to a 1 because it can not process our golden labs hair, it is constantly clogged and I have to mainly clean it and I vacuum almost everyday and so it’s not like it’s after a weeks worth. For the money, way too many issues, I would return this vacuum but unfortunately it’s outside my return windows. UPDATE – Self emptying stopped working after 6 weeks. I did get a replacement in a relatively decent amount of time but unfortunately, it still has same issue that it can NOT empty pet hair. UPDATE – got a new Omni, customer service was really good. This robot after about a month now just gets stuck in the open and is randomly running into things. UPDATE – 2nd unit has more issues than the first. It will not at all self empty the dog hair of a yellow lab and now it’s making a high-pitched noise and smell smells like burnt rubber.

I have been an iRobot Roomba buyer since 2007. My last Roomba bit the dust this month, and I did a ton of research before buying a replacement. I went with the Eufy for a few reasons: price point, cleaning power, quietness, and sleek design. Price: Very reasonable. Cleaning power: This thing sucks… It’s suction is much stronger than my Roombas have had. It picks up so much dust and pet hair. We do a full vacuum every other week with my Dyson, so I think of the robot vacuum as a supplemental vacuum. I was shocked at how much was in the dustbin after it’s inaugural cleaning! The picture attached to this is from that cleaning. It also gets a ton of dust in the little dust filter. Quietness: I work from my home office, and this thing is quiet enough that I don’t even turn it off during conference calls. This might be the thing I am most impressed with. My last Roomba was LOUD– you couldn’t even have a conversation with someone in the same room. Sleek design: I love/hate this. It definitely looks modern and cool, but it shows all my finger prints, and now I keep a glasses cleaning cloth nearby so I can rub it down. A few considerations: I was hoping to find a robot vacuum that wouldn’t eat my carpets’ tassels, but I don’t think that vacuum exists. I have only used the Eufy 4 times so far, and it doesn’t always get its brushes wrapped around the long tassels, but it does sometimes. The cleaning pattern seems pretty random. But it still hits every spot in the rooms. I’m a little concerned about durability. My Roombas ran for many, many years with easily replaceable parts. We’ll have to see if Eufy has the same longevity. All in all- I’m very happy with my purchase and definitely recommend it!

Background: I have a shedding dog, so I bought this in hopes that by running it every-day, it would pick up on some of the dog hair on the floor. What I like: -VERY easy to use. -easy to follow instructions -has a sticker on the bottom so if it ever stops and beeps, you can flip it over and it says exactly what the beeps mean. -color on top clearly shows what mode it is in. -very quiet. I can work on stuff with it in the room and it does not bother me at all. -works great on white carpet and easily transitions from my living room to dining room. -when its low on battery, it does not die where it is at, it just turns off the vacuum then finds the home doc and charges itself. -just works really well. I run it everyday and I am impressed by how much stuff it gets. -if it gets caught on a cord, it usually takes 5-10 seconds but then it stops the suctioning and moves away. What could be improved: -It does not work well on anything black, but this is true for all robot vacuums. It sometimes gets stuck when it goes on the black carpet we have with the black chairs. -Also, make sure the doc is against a wall because otherwise it will move and never charge. -Finally, you do have to dump out the vacuum particles almost every time you run it. Overall, I really like this! It does a nice job cleaning up the dog hair and other things that get on my floor and saves me a lot of time not vacuuming daily. If you have a dog, I would watch them with this first before you use it. My dog was initially scared of it but sniffed it’s “butt” and now they are cool and she does not mind it at all. Pleased with this product and would recommend! :)**UPDATE** On another note, Eufy has amazing customer service! I received an email from them addressing each of my “what could be improved” components with more information on the product. Very impressed.
