Customer Reviews

I’ve been using the Tikom Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo for a couple of weeks, and it’s been a pretty helpful addition to my routine. Compared to other vacuums, this one feels very simple and straightforward. It doesn’t have a complicated mapping system, which I actually appreciate—you just place it in a room, press start, and it figures its way around on its own. It’s surprisingly thorough, going over both hard floors and carpets without much issue, and the suction is strong enough to pick up pet hair and dust easily. It’s fairly lightweight and quiet, so it doesn’t feel intrusive while running. Overall, it’s not perfect, but it gets the job done and makes daily cleaning feel a lot less tiring.

I’m very happy with this Tikom G8000 Max robot vacuum! It was easy to set up and connected to Wi-Fi without any issues. Customer Reviews

My Usage and Overall Comments: Have had the Bot for 2-3 weeks now. Mostly used on 2nd floor (bedrooms/bathrooms/Loft area) which is 90% carpet. Occasionally used on 1st floor, about 50% carpet. Overall it seems to do a pretty good job. Much quieter than my old Neato! Cleans my 2nd floor on a single charge with BOOST cleaning. Overall I feel it’s a good Robot Vac, but wouldn’t spend more than $300 for it. The self-vacuuming / evacuation unit works well, typically removing 95% of the bot vac’s contents. So far have not had any issues with it getting stuck. Bump avoidance is pretty good. No issues transitioning between carpet and hardwood. Although it may not take the most efficient paths, it does appear to do a very thorough clean.

This beat out two other major brands – Eufy L60 and Roborock Q5 Max+. First, let me start with some of the “bad” – but please note that while there’s quite a bit I’m going to list, it’s all mostly small stuff and most of it has to do with the app. Cons – App is “okay” at best. Mapping works but it’s not the best at defining rooms. Can’t see live location on the map. Okay – that was a lot, but nothing truly major. Pros – The self empty base works wonders. It fully empties the vac each time. The vacuum just plain works. My house is mostly hard flooring with a couple rugs. I have 5 animals that shed like crazy. This is the only vacuum that actually picks up the fur, especially on the hard floors. It’s not very loud. Navigating works well – it sticks within the room boundaries, avoids no-go zones, and doesn’t get stuck. I previously tried the Eufy and Roborock, but the Shark’s actual performance makes up for any app limitations. While the Shark’s app is a bit more limited and the mapping isn’t as great – the actual performance of the Shark makes up for it. It’s now been 2 weeks of using the Shark, I haven’t actually vacuumed once myself. If that isn’t proof of good results then I don’t know what it is.

5. ROPVACNIC Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The 3-point cleaning system ensures comprehensive debris pickup on all floor types. Key Features That Stand Out

  • ✓ 5200Pa powerful suction with 3-point cleaning system
  • ✓ Electronically controlled mopping with adjustable water
  • ✓ Multiple cleaning modes and personalized settings
  • ✓ Advanced obstacle avoidance
  • ✓ Self-charging with reliable docking

Why We Recommend It

This model impresses with its strong suction and effective mopping system that gives you control over water flow. It handles mixed flooring environments exceptionally well, transitioning smoothly between surfaces. The obstacle avoidance is surprisingly competent for its price point, reducing getting-stuck incidents.

Homes with a mix of hardwood and area rugs, especially where tassels might cause issues for other vacuums. The adjustable mopping makes it suitable for homes that need both vacuuming and light mopping without separate machines.

Pros and Cons

Pros:
  • Strong 5200Pa suction picks up fine dust and pet hair
  • Excellent transition between different floor types
  • Adjustable water flow for mopping
  • Reliable docking and charging
  • Great value for the features
Cons:
  • No detailed mapping or room-specific cleaning

Customer Reviews

Arrived next day! Safely and securely packaged. Almost no assembly. Instructions were clear. It operates as a robot damp mop with water and pad or vacuum. Comes with extra filter and spinners. It runs seemingly forever. And picked up stuff from the floor we had never seen before! We have hardwood floors + oriental rugs and had no issues with tassels at all even though directions said to tuck them which we didn’t do. It somehow found the charging station from three rooms away! We have had four Roombas two currently in action. It runs much smoother, with zero hangups in our home (the Roombas do get stuck under things) It’s quieter and vacuums better. We had just vacuumed with a Dyson which was full at end of session and was STUNNED at how much ROPVACNIC picked up afterwards. The container was FULL! Amazing. For this price it is a steal. Very happy with our purchase. With regard to floor washing. It has a chamber you put water or cleaning solution in. There’s a pad which glides along the floor cleans, sanitizes and damp mops. The reservoir feeds water to the pad. This is not intended for carpets just floors. Great to have both features in one very inexpensive machine! It also comes with an app or remote control which lets you control it! Fun Fun! Perfect for the elderly or people who are unable to use a vacuum or mop. Mom uses it. She’s 95!

Great vacuum. It does a great job and sweeping and mopping our hard tile floors. It is relatively quiet, and it literally fits everywhere. It comes already charged and almost 100% assembled, so setup is easy. The app is a handy additional way to operate the Ropvacnic. The price makes it a great value! Thanks

Users appreciate its ability to clean under narrow furniture and its straightforward controls, including a physical remote for those who prefer not to use an app.

  • ✓ 4000Pa suction with 27% power boost
  • ✓ Multiple control options: app, remote, Alexa
  • ✓ Creates a map (though not always 100% accurate)
  • ✓ Navigates under low furniture effectively

Why We Recommend It

This model is great for users who want multiple control options, including a physical remote. The 3-in-1 functionality provides complete floor cleaning in one pass. While the suction power is moderate, it’s sufficient for daily maintenance, and the robot’s slim profile reaches tight spaces other models miss.

Best For

People with low furniture pieces (like beds or sofas) where dust accumulates, and those who prefer having a remote control in addition to app functionality. It’s also a good choice for secondary cleaning in a guest room or basement.

Pros and Cons

Pros:
  • Slim profile cleans under tight spaces
  • Multiple control options (app, remote, voice)
  • 3-in-1 cleaning function
  • Quiet operation
  • Good value for 3-in-1 capability
Cons:
  • 4000Pa suction is lower than competitors
  • Mapping accuracy could be improved
  • Water tank may need refilling for large areas
  • No self-emptying base

Customer Reviews

Great value for the money! I was looking for another robot vacuum for our second floor, where we have two designer beds with very narrow spaces underneath, where dust has been collecting for ages. I bought this vacuum with relatively low expectations—but it not only met them but exceeded them! It cleans and mops perfectly everywhere (including that sacred space under our beds), runs for about 2 hours without needing to recharge, and the water reservoir lasts for the entire cleaning process (approximately 1,500 sq ft!). It comes with a remote control and a magnetic strip to set up no-go zones. It also has a mobile app and creates a map of the area. While the map isn’t 100% accurate all the time, it doesn’t affect the cleaning quality. This is likely something that could be improved with a future software update. Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely recommend it!

This thing is not just a vacuum, it’s a true combo that vacuums and mops, which saves a huge amount of time. It comes with a convenient charging station where it automatically docks itself when the battery is low, so I never have to worry about finding it dead in a room. What I really appreciate is how straightforward the controls are. It includes a remote that makes it easy to start, stop, or direct the unit without having to open an app on my phone. This is a big plus for convenience. Most importantly, it is incredibly efficient. It navigates around furniture smoothly and covers the entire floor area without missing spots. The cleaning performance is excellent; it picks up everything and leaves the floors feeling genuinely clean. It works very well, and the difference in the cleanliness of my floors is noticeable. I highly recommend this robot cleaner to anyone looking for an efficient, hassle-free way to keep their floors clean.

It features ZeroTangle 2.0 anti-wrap brush design, an 18mm auto-lift mop for carpets, and hot water mop washing. The AIVI obstacle avoidance system helps it navigate around objects. This premium model aims to deliver commercial-grade cleaning in a residential setting.

  • ✓ ZeroTangle 2.0 anti-wrap brush design
  • ✓ 18mm auto-lift mop for carpets
  • ✓ Hot water mop washing in the station

Why We Recommend It

This is the powerhouse option for those with extreme cleaning demands. The massive suction and anti-tangle technology make it exceptional for pet owners with long-haired animals. The auto-lift mop and hot water washing add convenience and hygiene. However, it comes at a premium price and may be overkill for average homes.

Best For

Large homes with heavy pet shedding, deep-pile carpets, and users who want the absolute strongest suction available. Also ideal for those who want a completely hands-free experience including automatic mop washing.

Pros and Cons

Pros:
  • Industry-leading 18,500Pa suction power
  • Excellent anti-tangle brush for pet hair
  • Auto-lift mop prevents wetting carpets
  • Hot water mop washing sanitizes effectively
  • Strong obstacle avoidance
Cons:
  • Premium price point
  • Some users report reliability issues
  • Can struggle with certain rug types
  • Self-empty function may clog with heavy pet hair
  • Requires dedicated space for large station

Customer Reviews

I absolutely love this little guy. Setup was quick and easy—once it’s going, it just takes care of everything on its own. It does an excellent job vacuuming and mopping my wooden floors. The only rug I have is a flat cloth one in the bathroom, and it handles it without any issues. Cleaning performance is impressive—it covers the space thoroughly without missing spots, and the suction power is strong. It moves in what feels like a very organized pattern, doesn’t get lost, and always manages to find its way back to the dock. I only have two minor complaints: 1. The company recommends using only their detergent, which is fine—but for a $500 product, it would’ve been nice to include at least a small sample. 2. It only comes with one bag. I’m not asking for a huge supply, but including a spare would’ve been a thoughtful touch.

Maps and works well when it doesn’t get stuck on dumb things – it cannot navigate my rugs, gets stuck all the time, almost every time. I’ve updated all the settings I can. Heck, even my Shark, that died after 2 years and is a paperweight, or my Neato, never had any issues navigating those rugs. UPDATE – Dropping it down to a 1 because it can not process our golden labs hair, it is constantly clogged and I have to mainly clean it and I vacuum almost everyday and so it’s not like it’s after a weeks worth. For the money, way too many issues, I would return this vacuum but unfortunately it’s outside my return windows. UPDATE – Self emptying stopped working after 6 weeks. I did get a replacement in a relatively decent amount of time but unfortunately, it still has same issue that it can NOT empty pet hair. UPDATE – got a new Omni, customer service was really good. This robot after about a month now just gets stuck in the open and is randomly running into things. UPDATE – 2nd unit has more issues than the first. It will not at all self empty the dog hair of a yellow lab and now it’s making a high-pitched noise and smell smells like burnt rubber.

Customer Reviews

I have been an iRobot Roomba buyer since 2007. My last Roomba bit the dust this month, and I did a ton of research before buying a replacement. I went with the Eufy for a few reasons: price point, cleaning power, quietness, and sleek design. Price: Very reasonable. Cleaning power: This thing sucks… It’s suction is much stronger than my Roombas have had. It picks up so much dust and pet hair. We do a full vacuum every other week with my Dyson, so I think of the robot vacuum as a supplemental vacuum. I was shocked at how much was in the dustbin after it’s inaugural cleaning! The picture attached to this is from that cleaning. It also gets a ton of dust in the little dust filter. Quietness: I work from my home office, and this thing is quiet enough that I don’t even turn it off during conference calls. This might be the thing I am most impressed with. My last Roomba was LOUD– you couldn’t even have a conversation with someone in the same room. Sleek design: I love/hate this. It definitely looks modern and cool, but it shows all my finger prints, and now I keep a glasses cleaning cloth nearby so I can rub it down. A few considerations: I was hoping to find a robot vacuum that wouldn’t eat my carpets’ tassels, but I don’t think that vacuum exists. I have only used the Eufy 4 times so far, and it doesn’t always get its brushes wrapped around the long tassels, but it does sometimes. The cleaning pattern seems pretty random. But it still hits every spot in the rooms. I’m a little concerned about durability. My Roombas ran for many, many years with easily replaceable parts. We’ll have to see if Eufy has the same longevity. All in all- I’m very happy with my purchase and definitely recommend it!

Background: I have a shedding dog, so I bought this in hopes that by running it every-day, it would pick up on some of the dog hair on the floor. What I like: -VERY easy to use. -easy to follow instructions -has a sticker on the bottom so if it ever stops and beeps, you can flip it over and it says exactly what the beeps mean. -color on top clearly shows what mode it is in. -very quiet. I can work on stuff with it in the room and it does not bother me at all. -works great on white carpet and easily transitions from my living room to dining room. -when its low on battery, it does not die where it is at, it just turns off the vacuum then finds the home doc and charges itself. -just works really well. I run it everyday and I am impressed by how much stuff it gets. -if it gets caught on a cord, it usually takes 5-10 seconds but then it stops the suctioning and moves away. What could be improved: -It does not work well on anything black, but this is true for all robot vacuums. It sometimes gets stuck when it goes on the black carpet we have with the black chairs. -Also, make sure the doc is against a wall because otherwise it will move and never charge. -Finally, you do have to dump out the vacuum particles almost every time you run it. Overall, I really like this! It does a nice job cleaning up the dog hair and other things that get on my floor and saves me a lot of time not vacuuming daily. If you have a dog, I would watch them with this first before you use it. My dog was initially scared of it but sniffed it’s “butt” and now they are cool and she does not mind it at all. Pleased with this product and would recommend! :)**UPDATE** On another note, Eufy has amazing customer service! I received an email from them addressing each of my “what could be improved” components with more information on the product. Very impressed.

Complete Buying Guide for Best Brand Of Robot Vacuum

Essential Factors We Consider

When choosing a robot vacuum, focus on suction power (measured in Pa), navigation system (LiDAR is superior to random bump navigation), battery life, and whether you need mopping functionality. Self-emptying bases add convenience but increase cost. Consider your floor types—carpets need stronger suction, while hard floors benefit from mopping features. Pet owners should prioritize anti-tangle brushes and strong filtration. App functionality matters for scheduling and zone control.

Budget Planning

Robot vacuums range from $200 for basic models to over $1000 for premium ones with all features. For under $300, you’ll get good suction and basic navigation but limited mapping. The $300-$600 range offers the best balance with LiDAR, self-emptying, and mopping. Over $600, you get extreme suction (like 18,000Pa), auto-mop washing, and advanced obstacle avoidance. Set a budget based on must-have features—self-emptying adds about $100-$200, while LiDAR navigation adds $50-$150.

Final Thoughts

The “best” brand depends on your specific needs. For most users, a mid-range model with LiDAR and self-emptying (like our top picks) offers the best value. Pet owners should prioritize suction and anti-tangle features. Those with mostly hard floors might value mopping capabilities more. Consider your home’s layout—complex floor plans benefit from accurate mapping. Remember that maintenance (cleaning brushes, emptying bins) still required even with self-emptying bases. Read recent reviews to check for reliability issues, as some brands have better long-term durability records than others.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are robot vacuums worth the money?

A: Yes, for most busy households. They save significant time on daily cleaning, especially on hard floors. Modern models with good navigation maintain cleanliness effectively. However, they don’t replace deep cleaning—you’ll still need an occasional traditional vacuum for carpets and stairs.

Q: How often should I run my robot vacuum?

A: For optimal cleanliness, run it daily on a schedule. Most models can handle 1-2 runs per day. Pet owners may want multiple daily runs. The robot will automatically return to charge and resume if needed, so you can set it and forget it.

Q: Do robot vacuums work on carpets?

A: Yes, but effectiveness varies. Models with strong suction (6000Pa+) and carpet boost features work well on low-pile carpets. They struggle with high-pile or shag carpets and may get stuck. Some premium models have auto-lift mops to avoid wetting carpets.

Q: What’s the benefit of a self-emptying base?

A: Self-emptying bases automatically transfer debris from the robot’s bin to a larger bag or container, typically holding 30-90 days of dirt. This dramatically reduces maintenance—you only need to empty the base every few months instead of after every run. It’s a major convenience upgrade.

Q: How long do robot vacuums last?

A: With proper maintenance (cleaning brushes, filters, and sensors), most robot vacuums last 3-5 years. Battery life degrades over time—expect 2-3 years before replacement is needed. Self-emptying bases also have filters and bags that require periodic replacement.
