Customer Review: I’ve been using my Shark Cordless vacuum for a few months now. I still love it. I was waiting to make sure it kept working before reviewing. So far, so good. I haven’t had the best luck with the less expensive cordless vacuums. One was so hard to clean I just sent it back. Another had a problem with the rollers not spinning. I managed to keep it going for 2 years but always presented problems. This one is easy. The rollers stop the nanosecond a problem is detected and nothing has gotten wrapped up in them. This one is not so expensive that I couldn’t afford it and is what I was looking for. It seems durable and hopefully it will last more than a few years.It’s easy to use, lightweight and empties very easily. Just hold it over the garbage can and push the button. Nice. It’s also easy to charge. I just plug it in next to a wall and let it charge. My only complaint is actually that the charge barely lasts long enough. I have 1204 sq. ft. on 3 levels. I use a larger, corded vacuum for the top level that has 2 carpeted bedrooms. So, I’m only vacuuming the hard floors on the 2nd level (with some throw rugs) and the carpeted living room on the ground floor. Also 18 total carpeted steps. So, I wish the charge would last another 10-15 minutes for a more complete job. That said, it works so well, that I’m still very happy.The best part is that it’s small enough and light enough to make cleaning the stairs a lot less of a chore than with a full-sized regular vacuum. The rollers pull strongly and the suction is quite adequate. Not overwhelmingly so but does the job. I have 2 cats and need to be able to have a handy device especially for the steps where they love to play.

Customer Review: As a disclaimer, our home is 1700ft2, and about 2/3 of it is carpeted.The vacuum works phenomenal on the regular carpeting and hardwood in the house, but struggles a little bit with the wool area rug. The variety of ways this vacuum can be assembled makes it extremely versatile. For example, using the regular brush roll head while removing the extension works wonders on the carpeted stairs. The short “handheld” version with the scraper does great on the couch. And the extension, with the small ended nozzle, works great for after the initial vacuuming, getting all the dirt along the edges of the rooms and furniture. It lays down almost flat, so getting under things like the dog food bowls, the couch, the dining room table etc are a breeze.So the reason I made the title the way it is, is related to battery life. To realistically clean our first floor (mostly hardwood/tile + wool rug) and the second floor (totally carpeted) will eat up the entire battery. The battery is NOT fast to charge. The runtime is based I believe on the vacuum running in “handheld mode” (aka without the brush head). So, if you’re home is over 1500ft2 and mostly carpeted, you’re going to have to throw it on the charger for a while most likely. I think it would greatly benefit Shark to come up with swappable batteries, think Milwaukee or DeWalt style. If you’re handy you can do this yourself, but it would greatly benefit the company to have a proprietary design for this.Another con, though I hesitate to call it a con based on the portability of this vacuum, is the power. As mentioned, it does great on our regular carpeting, but just isn’t as good as the corded Shark we’ve had for almost 10 years. This is to be expected as the motor in the corded vac draws significantly more power than the cordless battery version, but still worth mentioning.The vacuum is very light and easy to use. The blue light on the front of the roller head is AWESOME, and will show every spec of dirt on any uncarpeted surface.Overall, for the sale price we got it at (I want to say between $175-225, can’t remember exactly) it has been excellent. Just keep in mind how much you’re going to want to run it at once, as if you’re living space is too big, you will have to take long breaks to recharge the vacuum.

Customer Review: We bought this model of Levoit vacuum (the LVAC-200) after using the more expensive model at work (the LVAC-300). The 300 was so terrific to use at work that we wanted to get a Levoit for our home. However, we didn’t need the larger size dust collector canister that the 300 has (which is perfect for doing a huge amount of carpeting in a professional building), so we went with the more economical 200 model.The model 200 has been excellent for home use. The vacuum is super easy to set up and use. The suction power is very good. The battery charge lasts at least 45 minutes of continual use. The tangle resistant roller design is important, since we have two long haired spaniels. In fact, I haven’t had the need to pull hair out of the rollers like I always had to do with our Hoover WindTunnel. The dust collector is easy to clean. The vacuum is very light and easy to maneuver. The brush head can turn into a 90″ angle when vacuuming, so it can get way into corners and small spaces. You can fold it completely flat to vacuum way under the beds.We have compared using this vacuum to our Hoover WindTunnel by thoroughly vacuuming a carpet first with the WindTunnel. Then, we vacuumed the same carpet with the Levoit. The Levoit picked up a ton of dirt and hair that the WindTunnel missed. It was pretty shocking how much the WindTunnel missed.I also love the fact that we don’t have to adjust the roller height for different surfaces (like we always had to do with the WindTunnel). The Levoit moves effortlessly from bare floor to carpeting and doesn’t miss any of the dirt along the edges of the carpet. When you look closely at the bare floor after vacuuming, you can see that the Levoit really got all the dust off the surface. Great suction power.We did go ahead and purchase additional batteries so we can always have one charging and ready to go. We also got extra filters.The Levoit customer service is very responsive, friendly, and professional. We had a question which they answered within 24 hours and then they followed up again to make sure that they completely answered our question (they did) and to see if we needed any further assistance. Very cool.I guess you can see that we really like this vacuum; it has been a real game-changer for us. I actually look forward to vacuuming.

It is lightweight, but has a very strong suction power, even on low speed. it handles the floors beutifully and on the higher speed, it makes quick work of the area rug clean up. Customer Review: This vacuum is one of my best Amazon purchases ever!!! I have a house with mixed hardwood flooring and carpets and I bought this for my hardwood floors. I have two big dogs a German Shepherd mix and a lab mix. The hair situation is ridiculous and we have to sweep or vacuum every single day. This vacuum makes it so easy because it’s light it’s easy to store and it works so well on my hardwood floors and picks up all of the dog hair floating around. My floors have never looked better. Customer Review: Another hit from dewalt.I bought the little lunchbox shaped 20v shop vac about a year ago. It was a bit of a disappointment. Its found its role around the house but it was definitely not what I was looking for.I was reluctant to purchase another dewalt 20v vac but saw this at a really cheap price.Home run. It absolutely will not replace your plug in shop vac, but is an amazing little sucker all the same. My wife and kid grab this so often its more of a home device than a shop vac. Its super light with lots of attachments and makes little jobs like cleaning lamp shades or fan blades a breeze.That said, it still has enough power to keep a light duty jobsite cleaned up. Will it be a dust extraction system? Absolutely not. It will however keep sawdust, drywall dust, and general messes from growing out of hand. Had it less than a year now and out of 20+ dewalt products this is quickly becoming one of the most used.

Customer Review: I have a Aerus Lux upright that is a fantastic vacuum. Unfortunately, it weighs a ton and you have to haul an accessory caddy along with it. It is a pain to haul it out for that little job. I am always struggling to get ceilings and corners because I have to constantly move and reposition the vacuum to clean. Then there is the fear of pulling it over trying to reach a corner. My parents and brother have been using battery powered vacuums for a while and they love them. My concern was the batteries. I didn’t want to trash the unit if the battery went bad nor did I want to have to hunt down and buy a replacement battery that costs as much as the unit itself. I thought it would be great if the unit used the Dewalt batteries I had for a drill I got as a Christmas present and here it is.This vacuum is great. It it extremely high quality and very durable. It’s light and portable. It’s always ready to go for that little job. It makes cleaning ceilings and corners a breeze. It has excellent suction for it’s size. As I mentioned, it uses a standardized battery pack that is easy to find and can be used for other things. It also has a bright LED to illuminate what you are cleaning. The included accessories let’s you do almost anything with the exception of carpets. This is either a plus or minus as units like these do only a basic job at vacuuming carpets when they can, while heavily diminishing battery life using a powered carpet attachment. All in all, it is definitely great for around the house and it is just what I was looking for.The drawback to this vacuum is that it is optimized for shop use. It lacks the ability for powered attachments if that is a must have. It also lacks a flashy status panel that lets you see the battery life and adjust the suction to maximize battery life. Fortunately, the batteries do have status lights built into them. The unit also does not come with a battery or charger which adds to the overall cost to getting started, unless you already have them, which may put some people off because they are not cheap.The battery life is highly dependent on the batteries you have. My 1.5Ah batteries last under 10 minutes. The 5Ah batteries supposedly last over 20 minutes. I just purchased one on sale and I would say that is accurate. There are also much larger batteries available.This vacuum is definitely one to take a look at. It’s light, powerful and extremely well built. It uses easy to find DeWalt batteries. Definitely a must have if you already have batteries and a charger.

The battery is still like new, I haven’t noticed any deterioration in its condition. It vacuums very well, sucks up debris from the floor. Sometimes you just have to unclog the long tube because it gets clogged on wool carpets. But it’s really excellent. Lightweight and, to my surprise, it doesn’t wear out or break down at all, and the battery is, as you can see, very durable. It’s a really good vacuum cleaner. And I’ve had a dozen or so of them over the last five years.The battery usually died after half a year of use. I will add that I use this vacuum cleaner every day since I bought it, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer, but every day I have an apartment, I don’t have a house and I don’t have pets, but I still think it’s perfect for a large family like mine. Why did you pick this product vs others?:After trying several other vacuums, I ended up keeping this and purchasing a second one because not only do I have all the Black & Decker batteries already for backup, but this thing will vacuum up all of the things you never even knew were in your carpet and on your floor. It has a light in the front to help you see under underneath furniture and dark spaces like closets and hallways. It’s easy to empty and easy to remove the beater bar so that you can clean that periodically. It’s also super lightweight which I love. There’s just this one thing you need to know about the vacuuming of the carpets and the vac turning itself off….. that’s really the only reason that I’m even leaving this review is because I read other reviews and I thought oh those people just don’t know what they’re doing and now I have new carpets and it happened to me too! I was like, nope! so I found a way around it by gluing some items onto the bottom of the vacuum to create a little bit of additional airflow and small bit of height so that when I vacuum the carpets now it doesn’t get so suctioned into the surface and shut itself off… so take a look at the video and just know that if you have this problem, find a creative solution… this vacuum is worth it.

The added features of the attachments come in super handy for small crevices and the brush is great for dog hair because I have 2 dogs, and it sucks up really well. I used it on my carpet and it immediately started to extract dirt and dog hair, it did a really well job. My favorite part is the wall mount so it holds up the vacuum either while charging or just set aside. It’s super smooth moving no struggle at all. The only minor thing would be it had some trouble on this rug but on regular carpet it worked wonders. Mostly a personal issue. The cordless feature is exactly why I purchased super convenient for everything without the weight of a corded vacuum. I like that you can adjust the suction and the light is so good because you can really see the the dirt and make sure you si l it all up.
