So far so good. This thing has amazing cleaning power. I really like the bagless design and how easy it is to use and keep clean. The attachments are versatile and simple to switch from one attachment to the next. Overall, the quality exceeded my expectations. My one and only complaint is the one I read before I bought it, and that is that the cord is not as long as I would have liked. I attached an extension cord so problem fixed. The rest of the device has been perfect for my LVP floors and I love how light weight and easy it is to use and how well it rolls around behind me without causing any issues.

I’ve been using this vacuum for a few weeks now. I have not purchased a vacuum in 23+ years until now (Dirt Devil upright Featherlite with hepa, Fall 2002-March 2026, may she RIP…). It’s very quiet, and the first time I used it, I figured, “Well, it must not be as powerful,” but I was wrong. It does a way better job. We’ve switched over to more hardwood floors over the years, so the ability to toggle back and forth from the carpet mechanism to hardwood at the pop of a button is great. It’s very lightweight also. And the retractable cord is a feature I didn’t know I needed until I got it. No more rolling up the cord when finished. Very compact and unobtrusive. Win.

What do I say about this little vacuum? It is AWESOME, but yet I’m still a teensy bit disappointed? I guess I was hoping for a complete upright replacement, and yeah, it isn’t. I have 2 rugs of short, yet very dense pile that will still need my old upright for a deeper ‘rug beater ‘ clean.That said, this little vac works GREAT on my bare floors (90%) of my home. Sucks dirt and particles I didnt even know I had out from under my baseboards, (using just the wand with no brush or crevice tool , a few pine needles from a ‘live’ Christmas tree 2 years ago came out and paint chips from a reno 7 years ago came out!) I got super nasty dust off my ceiling fans with the little brush attachment thing without significant effort on my part and likewise was able dust my winow blinds with same attachment and minimizing the level of ‘suck’ by opening the adjustment port on the handle. Very impressive! Still, I wish I could vacuum my two nice rugs. It works well on my Home Depot shaggy rug and my Home Depot ‘Oriental’ rug, but yeah either sucks too hard and get stuck on my good rugs or it just skips over the surface and doesn’t suck anything.So. I am still giving 5 stars as a tool to add to my home cleaning arsenal. Truly I am impressed. That said, depending on your rug situation, be aware, it may not be great for every rug type. For me, given 90 percent of my house is hardwood floors or tile, this will be my go to the majority of the time, it gets under most of my furniture and bookcases, it’s pulling stuff out of nooks and crannies on my baseboards and the seams of my couches and recliner, (goodbye Sunday binging TV cookie crumbs) it is sucking up all the dog hair dust bunnies (I have a labrador and a bulldog, although honestly, the bulldog doesn’t shed much but my labrador sure does!) And without mopping, my hardwood has rarely looked this shiny. So, even though I was hoping to completely replace my upright I will say, I am very pleased with the performance of this little vac. For the price? Really, I don’t think you will be dissatisfied. 5 stars after 2 hard core uses (every scenario I could think of to put it through). We’ll see how it goes in 6 months. The extension poles ARE plastic, not metal, if they hold up , we’ll be golden. The plastic doees keep it very light though which is why the ceiling fans weren’t difficult. So I’ll take it. Oh, last thing the attachments and cord stow away nicely, the wand and hose, not so much. I have a bigger utility loset so that doesn’t bother me, but if you need your vacuum to be really ‘tidy’ in storage, you may want to take that into consideration.

This vacuum does a great job for its price point. I had a Dyson previously that kept losing battery and just wasn’t very powerful and this vacuum definitely fixed that problem. It is super powerful and does a great job cleaning the whole house. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles: the cord has to be manually let out and cleaned up, the accessories don’t snap together and come apart sometimes, it is pretty loud – but I’ll take those inconveniences any day as long as the vacuum works well and doesn’t cost > $600.The only reason I’d not recommend this vacuum is if your house is mainly carpet or rugs. It works great on hard floors but it kept suctioning too much to the rugs/getting stuck and I had to get creative with the accessories to clean the few rugs I have.

Even better than the last one I owned. I had one of these many years back and loved it but, when we moved, I sold it and ended up getting an upright (different brand) because I thought bagless was the way to go. Well, that led me on a seemingly never ending path of collecting vacuum cleaners. None of them made me happy. Then I read a consumer reports review that ranked this Kenmore canister in the top five for performance, filtration, effective cleaning. What? I had no idea they still existed. I went right away to Amazon and there it was. I had to order it. When it arrived, I didn’t even need to look at the manual to assemble it, it was almost exactly the same as the one I had over 10 years ago. I fired it up and vacuumed and was once again happy and amazed since Kenmore added a couple of upgrades that make it even better like the telescoping wand and the pop and lock attachment feature. I was able to get into corners and crevices again. The attachments that are included cover almost every need a home has. I am so excited to have found a new trusty vacuum that doesn’t leave me frustrated by lack luster cleaning. I hope Kenmore never stops making these. The design, performance, cleaning and filtration are top notch and the price is amazing. My floors and carpets are already looking a lot better. And it is light and easy to carry and maneuver.

Purchased March 6 2026.I consider myself a pretty tidy housekeeper and people often mention my house looks nice, but this vacuum has proved them wrong. I had vacuumed 3 days prior to the first use of this Kenmore using *oover upright that is about 10 years old. Except for my kitchen and dining, my house is wall to wall carpet.Assembly – Fairly straightforward. No issues. Manual is easy to understand.Canister – Seems sturdy. A little awkward to pull along unless you’re in a wide open area, but this may just be me getting used to a canister vs always having an upright vacHose – very flexible and easy to work with. Switch out of cleaning heads is easy with a press of your foot. The telescope feature is nice for reaching curtains and under beds.Cleaning heads – all are very useful. I do not have hardwood but found the hard floor attachment nice to gently go over curtains without having to remove them. I did use it to vacuum under a low clearance dresser (3″) and it allowed me to clean completely underneath – something my upright was impossible to do. The brush attachment made easy work with cleaning my honeycomb blinds without damaging the fragile fabric. The crevice tool was nice for getting the dust from the carpet along the baseboards. The carpet head has easy foot-tap height change. It did a fantastic job on lifting the pile of my older carpet.Before opening the dust bag I was pretty pleased with how my carpet looked. After opening the dust bag (which I did because I accidentally vacuumed a button), the amount of dust and who knows what else was absolutely disgusting! I had no idea my upright was missing so much. The vacuum bags are great as far as trapping dust and allergens. One of the pics I took after cutting the bag open shows the multi layer assembly. Three layers of fabric tissue and an outer layer of tight bond fabric on the exterior. Nothing escaping this bag! The bag does seem to be too long for the compartment, but I just folded it up toward the opening.So far I am completely satisfied with this Kenmore and would recommend it. I almost never write a review, but this vacuum cleaner is amazing! I can’t believe I’m writing a review for a vacuum cleaner. Here’s the deal: I have a black and a yellow lab. I have a Malamute/GSD mix and some kind of a lab/pit/weirdo. Four dogs. My old vacuum was a Dyson. After about a month, every time I vacuumed I could smell a strong awful dog smell, even after tearing the thing apart and cleaning it. It was so bad, my husband refused to vacuum and would leave the house when I vacuumed. I had to constantly spray carpet freshener because my house smelled like dog. I figured it was because I had four dogs. I absolutely needed a vacuum cleaner that didn’t puff out foul dog smell. I researched and read reviews and went for this Kenmore. It was like a miracle took place in my vacuum world. I have been using this vacuum for several weeks. There is zero dog smell. It picks up every thing fabulously. The carpet attachment has a second motor in it and it pulls itself, practically. I only need to guide it. My severe back arthritis loves it. The floor attachment gets into those narrow odd places. I have used it for about a month every other day and I just changed the bag. It has a light that goes on to tell you the bag was full and the light never came on. So I only changed it because I thought surely it was full. It wasn’t 100% full. My house smells better and I think it’s because the suction power is superior and it gets all the dander. Remember, I have four big dogs. This vacuum is a vacuum miracle in my little world. If you have stinky, shedding dogs, I highly recommend this vacuum. It did not disappoint. It is very affordable. I looked at some vacuums that were over a thousand dollars, but this vacuum does everything I need it to and more.

This is the BEST vacuum I’ve ever owned. I have tried others that are highly rated and seemingly very popular. I keep coming back to this one. I have been purchasing this and similar models for 15+years now. Highly recommend. Very strong suction. Floor attachment works great on hard floors, it gets all the way to the edges. The head rotates so you can easily get under furniture. The stair brush attachment works great! I have even used it in the back of my SUV to get dog hair out. Highly recommend.

I’m nearly 50 and this is my first canister vacuum ever. I’ve owned upright vacuums made by Dyson, Oreck, Shark, and Hoover for the most part over the years. Dyson seems to put more money into marketing than performance these days. Shark is great until they lose suction which happens within a year or so for me. And Oreck is wonderful but overpriced.So, I did a lot of reading. I knew I wanted a canister to be more maneuverable than an upright. I knew I wanted a bagged vacuum because bagless, while convenient, ends up with a filthy machine and dirt flying when emptying it. I knew I wanted a power roller. And I knew I didn’t want to spend an absolute fortune. So, this Kenmore fit the bill.When I received it, I vacuumed with my existing Shark Rotator Professional. Then I put the Kenmore to action to see what it picked up. The Kenmore picked up about another half a bag of dust. For reference my house is a little under 1800 sq ft. As of yet I haven’t noticed any loss of power or suction as the bag fills up.I love that you can switch from hard floor to carpet/rugs with the slide of a button on the handle and also change the suction strength in the same spot. I have all sorts of flooring from tile to hardwood to deep shag rugs and it handled them all with ease. The hose length is plenty long enough to reach my ceilings and the onboard tools are easily accessible. The self-retracting cord is a nice feature too. I estimate that a bag should last me about a month and there are plenty of third party bags on Amazon that are far less expensive than the OEM ones.My one minor complaint is that the handle is top-heavy and has a tendency to fall over if you’re not very careful about how you store it. After 1st use and being a Disabled Veteran. Im highly happy with this light easy to use and clean canister filtered vac! Gets under everything easy for my having a severe injury. Very easy to handle and use definitely gets around and under anything 3″ or higher! Is easy to Get the stray sock it just suck up out of holding area of vac or in canister easy to retrieve! Honestly can’t wait to it use again! Cord length: I moved 3x through out the-house. Not that loud but is proficient! Would recommend for any house with tile, hardwood or 1/2″ or less thickness carpet! Awesome unit! Hope it remains. Very powerful for it size too!
