After receiving delivery from Amazon of Shark’s WV201RGBRN WANDVAC Cordless Hand Vac, I learned the following:1. Receiving a product from Amazon does not mean that the product received is as-intended at time of purchase. I received an unsealed product box with an attachment missing. As directed by the product brochure, I called the SHARK Customer Service number. (The brochure is — and should be — enclosed in the product box.) I spoke with a very kind, responsive, and responsible SHARK CUSTOMER SERVICE representative. He advised me to register the Shark product (which I did by providing him with the requested information). He IMMEDIATELY facilitated dispatch to me of the missing attachment to the vac.NOTE: I called SHARK on Tuesday (after receiving delivery and checking the product box contents) and received the attachment from SHARK on Saturday. SHARK provided contemporaneous information re. fulfillment, dispatch, and delivery. I rate SHARK OUTSTANDING. (Thank you, SHARK!)2. It was only after I called SHARK that I noted two Amazon coded stickers on the product box (a red and a white sticker that I have not previously encountered with prior purchases). Accordingly, I reached out to Amazon to ask if the product I received was new product or returned merchandise. I did NOT receive an answer to my question but noted that Amazon unilaterally began a ‘RETURN” process — directing me to go to a UPS Store that same week — within a couple of days. When I objected and noted that I had registered the purchase and intended to keep it, I was also told that replacement (that I, also, did not request) would NOT be possible.3. By this point in time I had watched multiple Youtube videos about the Shark Ion handheld vac and I used the vac; I realized that, among other things:a. It is an effective and impressive cleaning applianceb. It has small dust cup capacity and needs to be emptied perhaps more frequently than experienced by some consumers with other product..c. If not emptied and/or if the filter needs cleaning/changing, the fully charged vac may, among other things, cut-off and/or otherwise not effectively perform. (Some posted that the product may feel warm.)d. Per the instructions, even fully charged produces minutes of operation. (The internet — consumer postings) indicate ranges of time from 3 to 8 to 10 minutes; the outer end (not often mentioned) was 30 minutes.e. Despite what may be considered practical operational ‘limitations’, the effectiveness of the fully functioning vac is lauded. It is important to keep in mind the manufacturer’s representations regarding intended use (such as small spill cleanup).4. My personal conclusions:a. This product, perhaps designed as a limited-use handheld, is so effective in short-time use that consumers wish there was longer operational time and larger capacity. It is lightweight and well-designed. It is VERY effective/powerful when appropriately functioning.b. This clean-up tool is not designed for longer time and larger capacity use.c. SOME CONSUMERS report longer operational time and less need to clean or change filters.d. It may be prudent to have a supply of filters on-hand.e. SHARK has evidenced caring about its product and consumers being able to use their products effectively.f. YOUTUBE videos, as well as information provided by SHARK in its brochure and other product-related information, help even the most unmechanically-inclined consumer to understand product operation and care.5. I have encountered challenges with my purchase of this product but at this point in time I would not hesitate to purchase additional Shark products from SHARKAt this point, given the foregoing about the handheld vac I have had for less than one week, I am impressed that SHARK cares about its products and consumers of its products.I have concerns about long-term full functionality and keeping the product plugged in/charging continually but will rely on SHARK instructions.

Lightweight/not bulky, attractive & small enough to keep handy on kitchen counter, easy to clean (no filters to handle when dumping contents), not as noisy as others, & suction is adequate – a pleasure to use & worth the price!

I actually bought this for my 5 year old for Christmas because he likes to clean. I thought this would be better than any toy vacuum cleaner and he would actually be able to do some real chores around the house instead of pretend chores. He loves it and calls it “my vacuum”. He uses it and even knows how to empty and clean it. Best “toy” ever! Battery life is good, charges fully within a few hours

I replaced a Dirt Devil hand vac with this one. Love it! It has great suction, is easy to empty and clean, and is useful for quick car cleaning.

Great little vacuum. I keep it charging in my laundry room and use it for small jobs around the house. Such as, dried coffee grounds around trash can, the dust/lint on my dryer when I pull out the dryer lint thingy, beside the refrigerator, along my baseboards. It’s an awesome small appliance.

This is the best handheld vac I’ve ever owned. I use the soft brush attachment to keep my wood floor crumbs from up under my kitchen cabinet base. I use the smooth attachment to lightly lift dust from my Amish built tweed sofa. I use the crevice tool to pick up crumbs around the garbage can and I pick up wood pieces from my fireplace hearth. I also use the crevice tool to deep vac my dryer lint trap and my baseboards. I have owned this hand vac for a year and the suction is consistent and amazing. It hold a charge for a week and blinks when it’s getting low on charge. It’s easy to empty and to clean the filter. It’s durable and easy t use. The noise level is commensurate to its effectiveness and certainly a great value for the money. I will never use a different brand. It’s the perfect hand vac to complete the job of my robot and large vacuum. It reaches beside toilets, behind my freestanding tub and around and behind end tables. Such a time saver I’ve bought it for my daughters for their home that have pets and they also say it’s the best handheld vac they’ve ever owned. BUY IT!

This is handy! For around the house use, one charge handles multiple uses and cleaning projects. Dust and fine debris pick up is also very good, easy to swap out parts for different uses, so it’s versatile. I’m set to use it more so to clean out my car, but when I did a quick pass through it was very efficient. Not too noisy, especially compared to a full sized vacuum I’d say. No clogging as of yet, and easy to empty without too much of a mess. Honestly I’m happy I bought it, as I was going back and forth looking through multiple handheld options that I could use for the house and car. I’m satisfied.ALSO it’s easy to store! Great and powerful! I had another brand, but this Black & Decker is much more powerful! My daughter has one she loves, so I ordered this one. I LOVE IT! If you have had an influx of ladybugs in your house, this is the tool for you! I was also able to suck up a couple angry wasps. I use it exclusively for bug removal. It is fast and oh so powerful.NOTICE: When I carefully unpacked it and read the “manual” it said there was a cloth filter included…I did not see it anywhere. My calls to B&D resulted in 15 minutes on hold and no help. Aggravated, I ordered a set of washable filters from Amazon. They arrived speedily and when I went to put one on, it was then I discovered the cloth filter!😳 So be aware the included cloth filter is located UNDER the “plastic pre-filter.” Sort of strange…my daughter’s older model had the cloth filter OVER the blue one. I’m telling you about this so you’ll know. The cloth filter is there, it’s just hidden.The manual isn’t very explanatory but is full of **bold letter** WARNINGs.I’m very happy with my purchase. It is a very strong vac….as others have noted it is very very loud. It is easy to charge, a delight to use and accomplishes the task, whether it be bug or dirt removal. I love it and you will too!

I used the BLACK+DECKER dustbuster AdvancedClean Handheld Vacuum Cordless over the weekend, and overall I was really impressed with how well it performed. It has strong suction for its size and made quick work of small messes around the house and in the car. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and very convenient for those quick cleanups.My only complaint is the battery life—I just wish it lasted a bit longer between charges. For small tasks, it’s perfect, but for extended use, you’ll likely need to recharge sooner than expected.Still, despite the battery limitation, it works really well and delivers solid performance for the price. A great little vacuum to have on hand.

I’ve been using my Shark Cordless vacuum for a few months now. I still love it. I was waiting to make sure it kept working before reviewing. So far, so good. I haven’t had the best luck with the less expensive cordless vacuums. One was so hard to clean I just sent it back. Another had a problem with the rollers not spinning. I managed to keep it going for 2 years but always presented problems. This one is easy. The rollers stop the nanosecond a problem is detected and nothing has gotten wrapped up in them. This one is not so expensive that I couldn’t afford it and is what I was looking for. It seems durable and hopefully it will last more than a few years.It’s easy to use, lightweight and empties very easily. Just hold it over the garbage can and push the button. Nice. It’s also easy to charge. I just plug it in next to a wall and let it charge. My only complaint is actually that the charge barely lasts long enough. I have 1204 sq. ft. on 3 levels. I use a larger, corded vacuum for the top level that has 2 carpeted bedrooms. So, I’m only vacuuming the hard floors on the 2nd level (with some throw rugs) and the carpeted living room on the ground floor. Also 18 total carpeted steps. So, I wish the charge would last another 10-15 minutes for a more complete job. That said, it works so well, that I’m still very happy.The best part is that it’s small enough and light enough to make cleaning the stairs a lot less of a chore than with a full-sized regular vacuum. The rollers pull strongly and the suction is quite adequate. Not overwhelmingly so but does the job. I have 2 cats and need to be able to have a handy device especially for the steps where they love to play.

As a disclaimer, our home is 1700ft2, and about 2/3 of it is carpeted.The vacuum works phenomenal on the regular carpeting and hardwood in the house, but struggles a little bit with the wool area rug. The variety of ways this vacuum can be assembled makes it extremely versatile. For example, using the regular brush roll head while removing the extension works wonders on the carpeted stairs. The short “handheld” version with the scraper does great on the couch. And the extension, with the small ended nozzle, works great for after the initial vacuuming, getting all the dirt along the edges of the rooms and furniture. It lays down almost flat, so getting under things like the dog food bowls, the couch, the dining room table etc are a breeze.So the reason I made the title the way it is, is related to battery life. To realistically clean our first floor (mostly hardwood/tile + wool rug) and the second floor (totally carpeted) will eat up the entire battery. The battery is NOT fast to charge. The runtime is based I believe on the vacuum running in “handheld mode” (aka without the brush head). So, if you’re home is over 1500ft2 and mostly carpeted, you’re going to have to throw it on the charger for a while most likely. I think it would greatly benefit Shark to come up with swappable batteries, think Milwaukee or DeWalt style. If you’re handy you can do this yourself, but it would greatly benefit the company to have a proprietary design for this.Another con, though I hesitate to call it a con based on the portability of this vacuum, is the power. As mentioned, it does great on our regular carpeting, but just isn’t as good as the corded Shark we’ve had for almost 10 years. This is to be expected as the motor in the corded vac draws significantly more power than the cordless battery version, but still worth mentioning.The vacuum is very light and easy to use. The blue light on the front of the roller head is AWESOME, and will show every spec of dirt on any uncarpeted surface.Overall, for the sale price we got it at (I want to say between $175-225, can’t remember exactly) it has been excellent. Just keep in mind how much you’re going to want to run it at once, as if you’re living space is too big, you will have to take long breaks to recharge the vacuum.

I am very impressed with this cordless vacuum! The suction is great. Picks up cat litter wonderfully and cat hair, too! Easy to use. Charge lasts quite a while with my use. Not very loud either. Doesn’t scare my cat. Easy to empty and clean. So far, its perfect!

VERY impressed with this solid and powerful little guy. Bought because we got tired of lugging the “big” vacuum out to the cars and was honestly a little skeptical. We were BLOWN away by the heavy duty “sturdy” feel, the HEPA filter, the charging time, and extremely “this will last us a decade” feel. Suction power is outstanding, and we love the “flip down” brush that doesn’t need separate storage. The native “mouth” has turned out to be excellent for our cat’s fur on couches and keyboards, and the attachment that creates massive focused suction in single points worked wonders on the crevices of our cars. The size is appropriate and felt natural. It is versatile and can work in any location you would expect for handheld vacuums like kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, living rooms, and cars. It’s loud, don’t get me wrong. We didn’t expect to hear a pin drop, but we also didn’t wake up the neighbors. The HEPA filter didn’t clog at all (just reminder to empty it, which is literally removing the bottom, sliding the filter out, and tapping it into the trash can; 10 seconds). This is basically a hand held liquid extraction unit. No rotating scrubby heads, no spritzer, etc. But I LOVE IT! My other spot cleaner has become too heavy and cumbersome since my shoulder replacement. I only needed something for the spots when the cat occasionally throws up. This is nice and light weight and extremely easy to use. I use my own mixture of cleaning liquid, and this unit does have a stationary reversible head (either ridges or brushes) that I can scrub the spot with. Then the unit does a top notch job of extracting the liquid. No wet carpet spot. Don’t know if it works for anything else, like a car, boat, etc, but it’s perfect for what I need and for my limited physical abilities.
