Customer Review: I’ve now had this vacuum for a year, it is so well worth the money. I switched from my Dyson to this shark model. It’s easy to use, it’s easy to clean. The suction is the best I’ve ever seen in a vaccum. It’s lightweight. Lots of length to use attachments. The scent boosters work great. I can see where if I had dogs this would be great for the smell. The scent boosters also have levels you can set . I have cats and it collects the hair like no other vacuum. For noise level, I don’t think it’s loud. The quality of this baby is made built to last! I will never buy anything other vacuum. My only con is I wish I did this so much sooner!

Customer Review: This is my third Shark. The last one I had was a Navigator. Okay for a small pet-free family, but horrible for a house with a big, furry dog. I used this one today for the first time, and it was amazing! I got it for $200, but I would’ve definitely paid full price. The large canister enabled me to vacuum three rooms before I needed to empty it. Keep in mind, these rooms hadn’t been vacuumed in about three days, and I had been using the lackluster Navigator previously. The dog hair tumbleweeds were excessive. The suction on this thing is awesome, even when using the attachments, and the roller thing didn’t immediately fill with hair like a traditional brush roller. This is hands-down the best vacuum I’ve ever used, and I hope it lives up to the first-day hype.

Customer Review: I’ve had this little shark vacuum cleaner for almost 2 years and I fall in love again and again, every time I use it. This little vacuum cleaner not only is lightweight but super powerful and gets everything. AND I MEAN EVERYTHING!! I live in a smaller apartment but I have 2 dogs a cat and 4 ferrets, all of them love to shed everywhere, but this vacuum cleaner gets all of it. There’s been a couple times that it would get clogged, but that was mainly user error and once I cleaned it out and did a little bit of maintenance, it worked wonderfully again. The cord length is perfect for each room with extra to spare and considering how much I paid for this vacuum, I’m definitely getting my money’s worth plus some. This vacuum has 2 filters which I didn’t realize when I first started using it. And so when I finally realized that it had 2 filters, they were definitely very dirty when I cleaned them out for the first time. But after cleaning them out, it works like new. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly vacuum cleaner, that is powerful and easy to use this is the one for you.

Customer Review: Afier 6 months, changing to 5 stars from 4. This one replaced a mini cleaner from the “D” company, that fell apart after 15 years. (We bought a new one but they are inferior quality now and too big for me.) My review is geared toward older adults with physical issues, either short or long term. I’m older (60’s) and sufferedthe long Pandemic-19 illness after a family member visited and this person and adult daughter took mum to a packed weekend buffet; mum got ill, then passed to me. Physically, I was left weak after it settled in my joints, with back ache after smallest chores for over a year, so I needed a light-weight vacuumas exertion left me with DOMS. This was on a very good price (1/2 of now), easy to assemble, good alternative to the old vac. It’s light enough that I don’t have to recover for days after using it, but sturdy enough that I think it will last. This Shark works, though I wish thehead part of it fit better under my couch, but it’s easy to change to the wand. Will never go back to the awful, expensive “D” cleaners, especially for the company that claims to have they’ve “got just what I need.” So glad I found this vac here. After owning and using for 6 months, I’m adding another star. It’s easy to set up, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store, and really works well. The vac has a max and min setting. I didn’t realize and was happy using the min setting. After switching it on max though, it blew my old cleaner away off the face of the earth. I’m so happy to have a solid machine that I can handle.

Customer Review: I’ve been using my Shark Cordless vacuum for a few months now. I still love it. I was waiting to make sure it kept working before reviewing. So far, so good. I haven’t had the best luck with the less expensive cordless vacuums. One was so hard to clean I just sent it back. Another had a problem with the rollers not spinning. I managed to keep it going for 2 years but always presented problems. This one is easy. The rollers stop the nanosecond a problem is detected and nothing has gotten wrapped up in them. This one is not so expensive that I couldn’t afford it and is what I was looking for. It seems durable and hopefully it will last more than a few years.It’s easy to use, lightweight and empties very easily. Just hold it over the garbage can and push the button. Nice. It’s also easy to charge. I just plug it in next to a wall and let it charge. My only complaint is actually that the charge barely lasts long enough. I have 1204 sq. ft. on 3 levels. I use a larger, corded vacuum for the top level that has 2 carpeted bedrooms. So, I’m only vacuuming the hard floors on the 2nd level (with some throw rugs) and the carpeted living room on the ground floor. Also 18 total carpeted steps. So, I wish the charge would last another 10-15 minutes for a more complete job. That said, it works so well, that I’m still very happy.The best part is that it’s small enough and light enough to make cleaning the stairs a lot less of a chore than with a full-sized regular vacuum. The rollers pull strongly and the suction is quite adequate. Not overwhelmingly so but does the job. I have 2 cats and need to be able to have a handy device especially for the steps where they love to play.

Customer Review: As a disclaimer, our home is 1700ft2, and about 2/3 of it is carpeted.The vacuum works phenomenal on the regular carpeting and hardwood in the house, but struggles a little bit with the wool area rug. The variety of ways this vacuum can be assembled makes it extremely versatile. For example, using the regular brush roll head while removing the extension works wonders on the carpeted stairs. The short “handheld” version with the scraper does great on the couch. And the extension, with the small ended nozzle, works great for after the initial vacuuming, getting all the dirt along the edges of the rooms and furniture. It lays down almost flat, so getting under things like the dog food bowls, the couch, the dining room table etc are a breeze.So the reason I made the title the way I did, is related to battery life. To realistically clean our first floor (mostly hardwood/tile + wool rug) and the second floor (totally carpeted) will eat up the entire battery. The battery is NOT fast to charge. The runtime is based I believe on the vacuum running in “handheld mode” (aka without the brush head). So, if you’re home is over 1500ft2 and mostly carpeted, you’re going to have to throw it on the charger for a while most likely. I think it would greatly benefit Shark to come up with swappable batteries, think Milwaukee or DeWalt style. If you’re handy you can do this yourself, but it would greatly benefit the company to have a proprietary design for this.Another con, though I hesitate to call it a con based on the portability of this vacuum, is the power. As mentioned, it does great on our regular carpeting, but just isn’t as good as the corded Shark we’ve had for almost 10 years. This is to be expected as the motor in the corded vac draws significantly more power than the cordless battery version, but still worth mentioning.The vacuum is very light and easy to use. The blue light on the front of the roller head is AWESOME, and will show every spec of dirt on any uncarpeted surface.Overall, for the sale price we got it at (I want to say between $175-225, can’t remember exactly) it has been excellent. Just keep in mind how much you’re going to want to run it at once, as if you’re living space is too big, you will have to take long breaks to recharge the vacuum.

The only negative is that it will not stand up on it’s own, unless you lean it against a wall. That is a small thing and something we can easily live with.It does have a small container for debris, but emptying it is easy.The suction is good. No problem collecting just about anything on the floors.

Customer Review: The photo is how it sits and rides in my car and I carry it into homes in 2 parts, vacuum in left hand, dust cup in right hand. I like the weight and manuverability. I love the ease of putting it together. I love the long cord and ease of emptying dust cup and rinsing/drying at end of day.Cons would be the top heaviness, but the style, with the hand-grip in between is nice and balances the weight. I don’t mind laying the vacuum down to move small items out of the way. Older people may have trouble with that. You have to be careful if leaning it up against something, as it can fall down if not propped up securely. At end of day I have the dust cup off the top and it rests on the ground, as in picture.It doesn’t vacuum SOME bath rugs easily, while it vacuums others fine. Weight of bath rugs seems to be the factor, as I’ve used it on both short fluff and shag. (Update: it will vac a lightweight bathroom rug if I vacuum in one direction only, lift at the end, bring back and repeat)It’s Narrow vacuum head seems like it takes a bit more time to cover large floors, but it saves time equally by moving between chair legs and picking up crumbs closer to edges. Works wonderfully on hardwood, laminate, carpet or linoleum. I haven’t tried it on cement floors.I’ve only had it and used it for a week, but it seems durable and a Very good value for the money. I showed him how compacted the dirt was. Then, noticed dirt coming back out onto the floor. I opened the flap to his hose and used a chopstick and some other gadgets to pull out in clumps, compacted dirt, cat hair and cardboard from the kitty scratching boards. YES, please clean the vacuum parts at least once a month. It’s so easy and your purchase will last Years! I also helped him look up his model and order new filters.This deal of a vacuum is so easy to clean and access the filters. Customer Review: I purchased this product as I’m getting older and wanted to transition away from my old canister vacuum as I would always get tangled up in the hose and was afraid I’d fall. This vacuum fit the bill as it doesn’t have any type of hose. I’ll list my pros below and some observations.PROS:(1) I was amazed at the suction of this vacuum–it really does have it and cleans well(2) It does not have a hose to get tangle up in(3) It has a cup to empty so there are no bags to buy(4) It has very nice bright lights on the floor attachment and also on the handheld portion(5) The pieces all snap together easily so it’s easy to assemble and take apart when needed(6) The power cord is nice and long(7) The handheld piece does a really good job OBERSVATIONS (as I said, these are not deal breakers for me, just things I noticed):(1) The carpet/floor attachment is much small than my old vac–it does a good job buy just covers a smaller area than a larger vacuum(2) If you are transitioning from a canister vac, the handheld part is heavier as the weight is all at the top so it takes a little getting used to(3) Transitioning to a vac with the 360 head also takes a little getting used to(4) There’s no clip on the stick for the attachments–although I think you can buy one(5) No cord rewind (I was used to that, but there’s no place for it on this one)(6) One reviewer said he had to carry the entire vac to the trash can to empty the dust cup–NOT SO, the dust cup does come out and you only need to carry that to the trash to dispose(7) Since it’s top heavy, it does not stand up on its own–you have to lay it down or against somethingIn all, I think this is a really good little vacuum! The battery lasts long, allowing us to vacuum our whole upstairs and downstairs on one charge, and the suction does a good job with cat hair. We like how it can fit under furniture and goes around things easily. It has gotten clogged at the base a few times but I think that was more from vacuuming up food that got stuck over time, and then it’s really easy to unclog it. One of the parts that connects to the main stick did break after four years, but that might be more from quickly dropping it to snatch my toddler up from getting into something.
